Please note: this property requires a minimum stay of 3 nights. From Mid-July till end of August only weekly bookings from a Friday. This detached cottage rests in Shipham near Cheddar, Somerset and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
The Forge is a delightful detached property, resting in the village of Shipham in the Mendip Hills AONB, Somerset. Within the property there are two bedrooms, including a king-size with en-suite shower room and a ground-floor twin, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom, making the property suitable to sleep up to four people. The dwelling also features an unusual layout of a first-floor kitchen/diner, and a ground-floor sitting room. Outside is a landscaped garden, as well as a patio with furniture. There is also ample off-road parking at the property. The Forge is the perfect property for a family looking to explore this scenic region of South West England.
Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV, free Netflix and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off-road parking. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Ideal for couples and families with older children. Not suitable for people with difficulty walking or small children due to split level accommodation. Shop 0.4 miles, pub 0.2 miles. The cottages are all quite private from each other with their own little gardens, gates and front doors and we are in a lovely rural area with masses of open countryside for walking or driving around. If you don't fancy eating out there are several very good takeaways in Winscombe, the nearest large village, deliver, and most large supermarket will deliver groceries from Weston-sup-Mare.
