Coyote Cove at Joshua Tree Proper, Joshua Tree National Park, Central Air

Coyote Cove is a modern (country) style house in a quiet, scenic rural area, surrounded by beautiful views. This panorama encompasses a comfortable house off of a paved road with central air conditioning and heat, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a roomy common living area and a separate dining room. There is a separate room for the washer and drier. We have WiFi (great coverage for running multiple devices)and television apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu.

Enjoy indoor and outdoor games, get recipes and music from Alexa and our spacious back yard (surrounded by views and Joshua Trees), fire pit, and charcoal grill.

As our guest, we welcome you to share our fresh ground organic coffee, as brew or french press. We provide shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, hair drier, and soap.

Coyote cove is a practical and pretty abode. It is in the heart of Joshua Tree, 1.4 miles away from the National Park Visitors Center (West Entrance).

A Solo Travel Review

While the property is in need of some updates and improvements, it offers a lot of potential for those looking for a more budget-friendly option. The space itself is quite large, and the location is convenient with easy access to local amenities. Though there are some areas that could benefit from a deep clean and a fresh look, the house is functional and the basic necessities are provided. With a little TLC, this could be a lovely home for future guests.

Great Location!

Coyote Cove at Joshua Tree is a fantastic spot for a getaway. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. Its location is ideal—just a 1-2 minute drive to restaurants and a grocery store, and about 15 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, making it easy to access all the essentials and local attractions. Whether you're there to explore the park or simply relax, Coyote Cove provides a peaceful and convenient base. Highly recommended!

Very good but some annoyances

A nice house in a lovely spot, quiet and comfortable. Great views. Unusable internet on the weekend, semi-usable Monday morning. Lots of dvds but no dvd player. Back door very difficult to unlatch. A few small cleanliness issues. Still, it was overall a good experience.

Location Great for touring Joshua Tree NP

This home is in a perfect location if you want to explore the Joshua Tree National Park - which is why we chose it. It is a short drive to a Wallmart, where we picked up groceries for our stay. There are a few chain restaurants near Wallmart, as well. The kitchen was well supplied and I appreciated the provided coffee beans for our morning coffee. We found the main bed to be uncomfortable, and slept in the second bedroom. Mattresses are such a personal thing - so others might have found it perfect for them. For us it’s often: this one is too soft, this one is too hard - and sometimes we are lucky and get this one is just right! 😁 The pillows were thin and not to our liking - if you can, take your own pillows (more sanitary, as well). The home is all one level, easy to find with the GPS. The residential neighborhood was quiet. It has a pretty view front the back yard. The yard is natural - sand. The home itself felt clean on the surface - just don’t look too closely at the baseboards and fan lights that could have used a good cleaning/dusting. Perhaps they will be cleaned the next deep cleaning - so don’t let that hold you back. There were plenty of towels provided - the bathrooms were clean and comfortable to use. It has a dining table with chairs that could seat six if I remember correctly. There is one couch, that is a sofa bed —along with two kitchen table chairs and a small plastic chair in the living room. Comfortable seating was limited. The home met our needs.

Great location and surrounded by Joshua Trees

We really like the location of the VRBO, close to Joshua Park entrance, and the VRBO had all the amenities required. It was a quiet neighborhood with many Joshua Trees. If we are ever back in Joshua Tree we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the property again.

Fantastic!

We enjoyed staying here a lot! Quiet, clean, spacious, cool, and very safe. The property owner was very nice, responsive, and generous. It's also close to everything in/near Joshua Tree town and park. It was a great weekend because of this awesome place to stay!

Awesome Rental!

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the house is so well taken care of and stocked which was so neat! The beds were extremely comfortable and with 6 of us there was more then enough space. The front porch was such a nice area to sit and drink coffee in or look up at the stars. I especially loved that she had all kinds of stuff for kids tucked away as we had a 2 year old with us, just extra thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place

This was a great place to stay. Its located near the local town and not a very far from the Joshua Tree National Park. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is very roomy. We had a great stay here and no issues of any kind.

Excited to see Joshua trees out front as well as in the back yard. We were not expecting to arrive during a blizzard which made it difficult to figure out where to enter property but all is well that ends well and stay is close to Joshua NP. Chances are you won’t see snowfall like we did.

Great Joshua Tree Stay

My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect for us. We each had a nice bedroom, with very comfortable beds, and home-like decorations . The views from the communal spaces are lovely. Unfortunately, It was too cold out to use the outdoor areas. The kitchen was well stocked with seasonings, some snacks, and cooking equipment. The location was good- just a couple of minutes to get to National Park visitor’s center, and the little town center of Joshua Tree. Larger markets are only a short drive west. The only negative is that the house is a block away from the main east-west highway. In the spring and fall, with windows open, guests would hear the sound of traffic. All in-all, I would recommend this house.

Very nice place and good respond

Very nice place and good responses. Owner was very kind and nice response and very quick. I highly recommend this place if somebody hope to go and stay near Joshua Tree park. Very close and can see the stars in the house.

I am married with two young kids, live in Los Angeles, and work in Dental Surgery sales/equipment support. The Joshua Tree house, Coyote Cove, was intended as my "she-cave" but I always end out bringing my husband and kids. I can't help it, I adore them!

Interesting facts:
-My mother in law lived on a turkey ranch in Joshua Tree as a young lady and was awarded "Miss Joshua Tree."
-The woman who owned the house before us designed it herself and used to feed the coyotes, as you would a stray dog.
