Great holiday

Fab villa, the pool is utterly brilliant and a great location. The steep walk down to Calheta helped burn off all the calories from the gorgeous pasties de nata!!

Lovely stay

Great villa in a lovely location. The pool area is fantastic, clean and tasteful with great views of the sea. The villa has a well stocked kitchen with all you need and a lovely open plan living space. There’s an outside laundry room with plenty of hanging space.

Family holiday

Very nice Vila with a big swimming pool in a nice location. Car needed as the shops are down the hill. Nice restaurants around but can only be reached by car. Enjoined our stay very much xx

A lovely secluded villa away from the hustle & bustle

Kids loved the heated pool as did both my wife & I. Place was spacious & clean. Joao was efficient in his communication. Highly recommended - 5 star!

Perfect Location

Sitting above Calheta the villa is a perfect to enjoy the pool during the day and the poolside area late into the evening. A car is essential as the walk up from Calheta is extremely challenging even without groceries never mind exploring the rest of the island.

Lovely villa in a quiet area

We stayed here for a week in October with our 4 young children and we had a fantastic holiday. It is in a really good spot that is quiet and has fantastic views of the coast at Calheta. The villa is well maintained and well equipped with some new appliances. The kids really enjoyed the pool and were in and out of it several times most days. We would recommend this villa and would definitely return.

Wonderful stay

We've just returned from a wonderful week in Calheta. The entire experience from start to finish couldn't have been better. From communication with Joao before travel to the accommodation itself, it has been wonderful. The villa is in a beautiful location with wonderful views over the sea and the pool was a massive hit with our son. As other reviewers have said a car is essential even if you intend to spend most of your time by the pool. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Relaxing Holiday

Great property and fully equipped. You definitely need a car due to steep walk down into Calheta seafront but the views are great from the villa and you get the sun from morning until evening. The only negative for us was the beds were very firm but then I have a back problem. Peaceful location.

Wonderful experience!

Had a wonderful experience staying in the villa for one week. The views from the house and the terrace even better than the photos suggest, great pool, convenient layout of the house and outdoor areas, and has everything that you might need for your stay. This was our second (and finally successful) attempt to visit Madeira, with first being cancelled due to covid, and we initially planned to stay at a hotel. So glad we did not! Much better way to have a truly Madeiran experience! The communication with the host was also great, so nothing to fault at all! The car is necessary as others mentioned, but we planned to have a car anyways to travel around the island. Thank you for the chance to stay in your wonderful house!

Top Villa rental!

What can I say? This is a very nice holiday villawith beautiful view in a perfect quiet location. The swimming pool and the outside areas are the best you can get. The house is stocked with everything imaginable you could need, even a little too much to my opinion (this you'll find out once you start looking around and especially when you are trying to find the spot back where it belongs :-) ) The owners are extremely helpful, they even insisted in helping to carry our luggage up the stairs (from the garage). Although we were 100 % happy with our rental , I would like to point out something to the owners to make it 110 % in the future. I don't think a large bed of 150cm is a large bed anymore nowadays. I do know that this size was common in Portugal (and I guess Madeira too) for a large bed, but who of the foreigners still sleeps in a bed of this size? Something to consider, that's all. Thanks for having us! Patrick

Belle maison avec vue sur la mer dans un quartier calme et un peu à l’extérieur.Bel emplacement. Grand séjour et cuisine bien équipée.Belle piscine, même si celle-ci n’était pas chauffée (problème technique).Salle de bain attenante à la chambre à coucher un peu petite (douche).Espace extérieur bien aménagé mais un peu restreint.Pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage und ist für Familien sehr gut geeignet. Ausflugsziele, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und das Meer sind in kürzester Zeit gut zu erreichen. Der Pool und der Aussengrill einfach schön.

Schöner Ausblick bei gutem WLAN

Unser Aufenthalt war leider sehr beeinträchtigt, da sehr vieles in der Villa nicht in Ordnung war: An dem Tag, an dem wir ankamen, war ein schrecklicher Geruch in der ganzen Villa. Schmutzige Schränke, Schmutziges Geschirr, Staub auf den Möbeln, Defekter Sonnenschirm, Kaputter Wäscheständer, Nur drei Sonnenliegen, die vierte war kaputt Defekte Mischbatterie und Toilettendeckel im Dusch Badezimmer, Löcher im Steinboden, dadurch Unfallgefahr, Kein Wasserhahn in der Toilette draußen am Pool, Extremer Geruch aus der Toilette im Duschbad, Zwei unbrauchbare Holzstühle draußen am“Essplatz“, Alle Gardinen sehr schmutzig, Kaputtes Fenster im Duschbad

Sehr schönes Haus mit traumhaften Blick

Ein sehr schönes Haus, ruhig gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist gut, allerdings ist der vorher in anderen Bewertungen schon erwähnte Sonnenschirm immer noch defekt. Alles wichtige ist in der Nähe, allerdings wird ein Auto benötigt (siehe Hinweis Hofeinfahrt in anderer Bewertung). Ausflüge in alle Richtungen sind durch die zentrale Lage gut möglich. Anfragen über Kontaktdaten wurden schnell beantwortet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Anwesen mit kleinen Mängeln

Tolles Gebäude mit tollem pool in traumhafter Lage. Die Einrichtung und die Küchenausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber zweckmäßig. Das ein oder andere Fliegengitter würde helfen beim lüften ungebetene Gäste tierischer Natur fernzuhalten. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Objekt in dem wir gerne wieder Urlaub machen würden.

Inselurlaub

Die Wohnung entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Der Pool beheizt und sauber und die Terrasse ab 9 Uhr in der Sonne. Internet war sehr gut. Ein Auto ist ein Muss. Die Hofeinfahrt ist nicht für jedes Auto geeignet, aber Parken auf der Straße ist auch kein Problem. Am Hafen gibt es einige Restaurants und die sind preislich ok, außer ein besonderer Fisch aus der Theke. Die Wandergebiete Paul de serra und 25 fontes sind in ca. 20 Minuten erreicht. Zur Nordküste ist es dann schon ein Stück weiter; vorallem die Serpetinen hinab zur Küste sind dann schon anstrengend. Bei Wanderungen immer auf die Höhenmeter achten, es sind keine Spaziergänge.
