What a lovely place to stay! The cottage was an exquisite retreat pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was an excellent place to return to every night after we had been out all day.
The rear garden is large and well kept and gets the sun most of the day. In the morning there is a very discrete seat in the front garden that catches the sun as well.
The interior has everything you could need, the kitchen has an amazing array of appliances, although we didn't get round to using the fondue set!
The bedrooms are lovely with great views and the stairs could be interesting after a glass of wine! Don't let that put you off though, there's no need to rush!
Communication with Liz was awesome, we often received an instant reply, and she couldn't have been more helpful when asked.
Overall, this could be the most relaxing and charming cottage we've ever booked.
The Thatched Cottage is quite delightful and in a wonderful.location surrounded by fields but a 10 minute walk to the Alderfen Broad where our two dachshunds thoroughly enjoyed their walks. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable in every aspect. Everything has been thought of and of a high standard. We had several good meals at The White Horse in Neatishead and I found a lady down the lane who keeps chickens so we had plenty of fresh eggs. We had a wonderful holiday!
The cottage had everything that we required. It was so peaceful and it was lovely to sit out on the patio in the evenings and watch the sun go down. There were plenty of places to visit during the day without travelling too far. Recommended for a quiet getaway!
The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. The host is very helpful and responds very quickly to queries. We hope to stay there again!
