About this property
Ocean View, Portreath. Beachfront. FRIDAY checkin
The renovated house is outstanding for a holiday & safe for small children. It is right on the small beach with water only when the tide is in through the wave reducing barrier. Access to the main beach for surfing is up the steps & straight down the slipway without a road to cross. Across the small historic harbour is the start of the coast to coast tramway - brilliant for cyclists. Friday changeover check in from 1800, check out by 1200.

The space
Bedrooms: The main bedroom has a super king size zip link bed, that can be split into 2 singles. You have a sea view even in bed. The second bedroom is a double and has South facing French windows. The third bedroom has a pair of 3’ bunk beds. Also available are a travel cot, bed guard. high chair and a booster seat.
At the top & bottom of the stairs there are baby gates, which may be used to control dog access.
Bathrooms: The upstairs bathroom has a double walk in shower, a WC and basin. Downstairs there is a second bathroom with walk in shower, WC and basin There is no bath.
Kitchen: There is a well equipped kitchen, with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. It has a dining area with table, which can be extended, and chairs for 6.
Living Room: The living room has 2 leather settees and 2 separate chairs, ample seating for 7. There is a television with DVD player. It also has a log burner.
The front area, overlooking the small beach, has a table with 6 chairs and a built in BBQ.
The house has an oil fired boiler for hot water and heating.
Parking: The house has a garage – height limit 1.8m. It is also possible to park a car alongside the garage, however this is only 2.2m wide. Both spaces require careful reverse parking and have limited length. Our Skoda Octavia Estate just fits both parking spaces. Nearby there is free road parking – but this is heavily used. There is a pay beach car park (daytime only) – 30m away from the front door up the steps.
Pets: We limit pets to 1 large dog or 2 smaller ones. However beach access for dogs is restricted in July and August between 1000 and 1800. NB. Front and rear areas have low gates.

All areas of the house, except for attic.
Other things to note
We have set our changeover for Friday afternoon with a check-in time from 1800 to avoid peak weekend traffic and to give you a full weekend to start your holiday. Because of the late check in time it also means you can leave in a leisurely fashion the following week, with a check out time of 1200.
