This spectacular house is perfect for a special break with family and friends. Contemporary and light, there is everything you could want for a great holiday at any time of the year … with ample parking too!

Set within an acre and a half of well-tended grounds, this split-level home has been cleverly designed to ensure that all the main rooms enjoy the breath-taking views. The large sitting room has a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, as well as a warming modern electric fire, a large wall mounted television and a sound bar, so switch on the fire, turn on the sound, and enjoy the acoustics in this fabulous space.

The master bedroom has a super-king size bed which can split to make twin singles beds on request and boasts a dressing room along with, the crowning glory, access to its own raised decking and garden area. There are four further bedrooms, three of which are en-suite and, with the family bathroom along the corridor, there are plenty of facilities for everyone.

If you are feeling competitive, why not partake in a game of pool in the games room? The extensive grounds, gardens and raised deck are perfect for an alfresco meal whilst watching the sun go down over the Atlantic Ocean, sparkling in the distance. Westerley really has all you could wish for, and more, for that well deserved holiday on the Cornish coast.

Familienurlaub

Cornish Holiday.

Excellently well appointed house with sufficient space for ten people. Beautiful location with sea view. It would be a good idea to put some WD40 on the lock box which is a bit challenging until you get used to it. Happy to know the owners use it themselves.

Family week

We had a very enjoyable week at westerly. Excellent space and accommodation for a large party of 10. The views are amazing. Very good position for exploring around. We enjoyed the coast to coast bike ride, even in the rain! The children enjoyed the local beach, and spent much time playing in the garden. A holiday to remember.

Perfect!

We couldn’t have wished for a better house or a nicer place to stay for our family reunion of 4 generations. Westerley was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The layout of the house meant everyone was able to have their own space if they wanted to, but at the same time the large living room and dining area were spacious enough for us all to spend time together. It was such a treat to wake up to such amazing views every morning and the sunsets were to die for!! Portreath is in easy walking distance so was perfect for early morning dog walks on the beach before calling at the baker on the way back for fresh bread for breakfast. After long drives to get there, we didn’t want to venture far afield, so we’re happy to find other fantastic beaches and coastal walks very close by. A perfect family holiday - many thanks!

Family Perfect!

What a superb house! Positioned on the cliff-tops overlooking the bay of Portreath - with views from every window. The house was extremely well equipped in all areas and we wanted for nothing. Perhaps the greatest advantage was the layout of the house, which allowed our extended and large family to enjoy each others company but to still have the individual space as and when was needed, incidentally this was all on one level too The age range of our party was from 9 weeks to 91 years of age and everyone had the most amazing and special time. Thank you Westerley you did us proud! We shall hopefully return!

Simply The BEST

This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful property and it remains as stunning as ever, it is large enough for multiple families to holiday together whilst still having pace to spread out, the children loved the large living room and spent lots of time up there leaving the adults to enjoy the spectacular ever changing sea views from the kitchen and puzzle room. The walk down to the village is short and the pubs there are both lovely, we enjoyed superb pasties from the bakery and braved the sea a few times for some body boarding. The house is very well equipped and very obviously loved as its full of games and books so plenty to keep busy folks entertained. The home office was a lovely spot so we could continue to keep our business life ticking over as necessary but also close the door on it without having to pack it all away. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be looking to return.

Fabulous views from this great holiday house

Our family of 10 aged 21 to 87 enjoyed a great week at Westerley. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. What a glorious view at any hour of the day.. Very well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We spent most time in the sun room and sitting at the table looking at the sea. A welcome addition would have been a handrail up all the steps outside so that Grandad could climb up without holding onto someone and a handle in one of the showers.

Outstanding sea views.

Large well equipped property with lovely sea views. Just a couple of minor niggles. One of the shower rooms had a patch of damp and a slight leak from the toilet. The key to the drying room felt as though it would potentially break off in the lock, and the internal door knobs were frustratingly difficult to open. The grass could also have been cut to make the garden more accessible. Despite these small grievances we had a very enjoyable stay and would return.

A thoroughly enjoyable, seven night holiday

First impressions count and as we all drove into Westerley, there was a collective wow. Those first impressions were built on, as we explored the house and it's amenities. Then, the fabulous views of Portreath Bay. Just couldn't fault the house at all and the kitchen and it's hardware was exceptional.. The beach provided endless fun for all the family and only a fifteen minute walk away.

Fantastic views

Westerley is in a great location with fantastic views across the beach. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were a group of six so had plenty of space. We never really used the sitting room as we spent most of our time in the sun room and kitchen/diner enjoying the views through the huge windows. The washing/drying room was useful, particularly when coming back from the beach with wetsuits that needed drying. We never found time to use the games room, although we did do some of the jigsaws from the good selection of games in there. The decking area was great and we loved sitting out there with a coffee or glass of wine enjoying the view over Portreath and the coast. There are some lovely walks along the coast which you can do from the house, which makes it so much easier when you don't have to drive anywhere and find a parking space. The only thing that would have been useful for our group would be a handrail all the way up the steps to the front door so that my mother (who is in her 90s) could walk up them without needing a hand from us. We would highly recommend Westerley, a lovely comfortable house in a great location.

Loads of room with a view

This is a fantastic house over looking Portreath bay. We had our breakfast most mornings taking in the views. In the evenings watching the sunset. Ample parking for family cars. A great base to venture off to different Cornish locations. We had a fantastic time making lovely memories during the week. Plus some great meals at various Pubs and restaurants. Games room, Drying room and great amount of space with every bedroom having it own en-suite.

Lovely home in a stunning location

This had everything promised and more. The views have to be seen to be appreciated fully absolutely stunning. The house had everything, was spacious and comfy with plenty of room for everyone. A short walk to a lovely beach, although quite a climb back up the hill, but hence the views. Not far to travel to loads of places and great walks on the doorstep. I would recommend and didn't want to leave!

Amazing property in a great location with stunning sea views

The property is a real gem. Loads of space and very well fitted with modern equipment. Spectacular views of the sea and harbour. Comfortable and very spacious. Would highly recommend. Only small quibbles: Need instructions for induction hob. Windows dirty inside (children's hand prints and sticky tape). End of rental maintenance / cleaners waiting in car outside watching from 8am on day of checkout was a little off putting / creepy.

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect. It had so much space and secluded areas where you could chill out. The town was small but had everything you needed. Beautiful beech. Overall excellent.

Westerley Portreath

Fantastic house with fabulous views over the bay. We watched massive waves from storm Dennis as he battered the coast in the comfort of the large kitchen and sun room. Even the games room had spectacular views over the bay. Would definitely stay here again.Hard to prize yourself away to go exploring as the house is so fab!
