Peaceful 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home located directly on Eel Creek. Appreciate the natural beauty of Chincoteague Island with gorgeous nature views from both the lower level screened in porch as well as the balcony off of the master suite. Enjoy relaxing mornings with the sunrise and breeze filled evenings in the truly tranquil master bedroom. Downstairs offers 2 additional bedrooms and a full bath with laundry. Wonderful Place

The location and accommodations where wonderful! Nice wetland views and close to the bridge to Assateague Island National Wildlife Refuge. The place was clean and we received a quick response and resolution to a question we had for the owner. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay

We love staying here in the off season, it sits at the end of a dead end, one lane road and is very quiet during the winter. Beautiful views of the creek and marsh directly behind the house. We saw deer and fox as well as a variety of waterfowl. Very clean as well!

Tranquility for days!

We had a lovely time at the house on our way down south. The rooms look EXACTLY like the photos. The location is perfect to explore the area and check out the ponies in the park. Most places in the area were closed in the winter but that just made it more private and cozy. Thank you for welcoming our dog, Rosie, too!

Gorgeous property

This is a cute house in a beautiful location. We were very comfortable. I was a little taken aback at having to pay extra for linens and towels but everything else was excellent. Communication with the host was great.

Great stay at Tranquil Shores

We had a beautiful long weekend at Tranquil Shores. House was very comfortable for 6 adults and we loved being able to bring our dog. Spent most of our time on the screened in patio, which was perfect for dining and wildlife watching. Very convenient location and home was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

Just love it there. I'm at ease and so relaxed. My favorite part is the view and all the wildlife!!! I sat on the deck for hours. One morning I caught the sunrise and watched all the herons come in over the property (I was on the top deck) right over me to get to the creek. So amazing! we will be back.

This home never disappoints!! It’s beautiful and relaxing inside with everything we could need, the location is perfect (easy access to restaurants, riding our bikes to the beach, etc) and the owners are always so communicative and helpful!

Wonderful Getaway!

My 2 adult daughters and I had a wonderful time at this property. The house was impeccably clean, very comfy, beautifully decorated, and very well-equipped. The location is fantastic- great bird watching from the deck, and very close to both the town and the wildlife refuge. We would definitely stay at this house again!

We have been visiting Chincoteague with our family for years and just adore the island. We purchased our first home on the island in 2014 and at the time really tackled with whether to buy that home or this home. We were visiting the island with friends and saw this on the market again and we were still emotionally attached and just took the plunge!
