Villa Alsoneiro offers a lovely setting for a relaxing holiday in Western Crete and is located walking distance from the local village of Plaka and 15-20 mins walk from the seaside town of Almerida. The villa provides comfortable accommodation for 6 people and includes fitted kitchen and much more. The double balcony offers a breathtaking view of Souda Bay where you can often see the ferries coming and going from the other Greek Islands. To the right the contrasting mountain scenery finishes off the panoramic views of the surrounding area, if you can drag yourself away from the view, the large private patio downstairs is an ideal place to enjoy a family BBQ or simply relax in the sun, using the loungers provided. The garden features a variety of local plants including various herbs which create a lovely aroma as the sun goes down. Furnished to a high standard the Villa offers a comfortable stay for visitors of all ages and includes air-conditioning throughout.

The Villa is part of a small complex of 5 properties all facing the breathtaking views of Souda Bay. The pool is the central point and is an ideal spot to share a drink with your neighbors should you wish. However, the various areas around the Villa itself offer space to relax in private. The Garden next to the Patio area is a good spot for taking in the sunshine using the sunbeds.

Entrance to the area is via a gate which ensures that there will be no passing visitors to the pool or public areas around the pool area.

A Car park is provided.

Its hard to describe in words the tranquility and sense of calm experienced from the location of the Villa and each window offers a different view.

The Villa offers spacious 2 bedroom villa with a Double Balcony overlooking beautiful Souda Bay, It is walking distance to the village of Plaka with its various Tavernas and Minimarket. The Beach of Almerida is a 5 min drive (20 min walk) where you will find a sandy beach & shallow bay. Villa Alsoneiro has a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dish washer. The Lounge area has a comfortable double sofa bed, a dining table and TV / DVD. There is Aircon throughout. The Pool is to the front of the Villa.

Beautiful place

Wer einen ruhigen, entspannten Aufenthalt mit traumhaftem Ausblick sucht, der ist hier mehr als richtig! Wie waren die ganze Woche allein in dem Komplex, hatten den Pool ganz für uns. Der Blick auf die Bucht von Souda ist phänomenal. Das Haus liegt etwas weiter außerhalb, daher ist ein Mietwagen (schon in Deutschland gebucht) dringend zu empfehlen. Man sollte jedoch wissen, dass die Entfernung zum (kleinen) Dorfzentrum zwar nicht groß ist, allerdings ist der kürzere Weg dorthin extrem steil. Eine schöne Aussicht hat nun mal ihren Preis... Die Villa hat drei verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten rund ums Haus, was wir bei den Wind- und Sonnenverhältnissen sehr zu schätzen wussten. Wir haben unseren Zeit dort sehr genossen. Keine Luxusausstattung, aber absolut korrekt und zweckmäßig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Spülmaschine, die scheinbar auf Kreta nicht selbstverständlich ist. Toril hat wirklich an alles gedacht. Die Infomappe ist bestens bestückt. Unsere Große ist kurz vor Abreise an einer Ohrenentzündung erkrankt. Die beiden privaten Ärzte in Kalyves sind sehr zu empfehlen. Haben sehr gut erkannt, worum es geht und passende Antibiotika verschrieben. Obwohl wir zwei Apotheken anfahren mussten, haben wir alle Medikamente bekommen. Mit Englisch kamen wir super weiter. Danke auch an Toril, die uns problemlos ein paar Stunden länger hat bleiben lassen. Klare Empfehlung für die Villa! Wer allerdings mehr Leben um sich herum braucht, sollte nicht Plaka wählen...

Excellent séjour en famille

Villa très bien adaptée pour une famille, très agréable à vivre, bien agencée et avec de nombreuses terrasses selon l'exposition du soleil. Nous avons bien profité avec les enfants de la piscine, nous étions les seuls à l'utiliser. Le kit de bienvenue avec le nécessaire petit dej, eau et ménage est très appréciable à l'arrivée. Pour visiter la crète, la voiture est nécessaire.

Très belle villa qui surplombe Almerida

Nous étions en famille avec 2 ados 15 et 18 ans et nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette villa. Spacieuse, propre avec des petites terrasses très bien situées permettant de bénéficier d'une superbe vue sur la mer ou la piscine et la mer et d'être tranquille. Le calme est le maître mot de cette villa.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée et dispose d’une vue splendide sur la baie de Souda. Elle est idéalement située pour rayonner dans l’ouest de la Crête. Le centre de Plaka qui dispose de 2 supérettes et de tavernes animées en soirée est à 5 minutes à pied. Nous avons également apprécié la piscine partagée en toute quiétude. La charmante station balnéaire d’Almyrida est accessible à pied (15 min environ). Je recommande cette location !

Maison très agréable

Très bonne expérience avec cette location. Très bien située, au calme, super vue. Différentes terrasses et balcons. Logement bien équipé. Rien à redire. Il y a des tavernes et magasins de qualité au village même, ou à 20 min à pied, à Almerida, en bord de mer. Cela fait une jolie balade le matin.

Super Ferienhaus mit grandiosem Ausblick!

Die Anzeige verspricht genau das was man bekommt. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht von diesem tollem Ferienhaus. Wir waren 2 Wochen im August zu 5. und hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub! Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist der Wahnsinn! Toller sauberer Pool! Als wir da waren hatten wir Ihn fast für uns alleine. Küche komplett ausgestattet und sonst auch wirklich alles super! Ganz lieben Gruß

Au top !

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable de 10 jours dans cette jolie propriété de Crete. Maison parfaitement equipee. Nous voyagions avec 2 jeunes enfants, et 1 bébé de 12 mois. Un grand merci à notre hôte qui avait tout prévu : lit bébé, chaise haute. Et qui avait même eu la délicatesse de nous prévoir de quoi petit déjeuner pour le lendemain de notre arrivée tardive. La climatisation dans toute les pièces et la piscine juste en bas de la maison (très propre elle aussi) ont été fortement appréciés au vu de la canicule. Cette location a vraiment en grande partie participe à la réussite de notre séjour.

Très bon séjour

Maison agréable, très bien située, au calme. Belle piscine, très bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et à l'écoute. Quelques courses nous attendaient à notre arrivée, ce qui est bien appréciable quand on arrive tard ! Le seul point négatif, c'est le ménage, la maison n'était pas très propre. Mais nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
