Wife's birthday weekend

It was a beautiful property and waterfall was amazing!! Only issues was there were no soaps in the bathrooms and what was there had water added to it from the cleaner I believe as the owner would probably not do that. With a property and location like this, why not leave toiletries.

Comfy Cabin

My family spent a few days here during the New Year Holiday. It is very cozy and comfortable. The furniture is comfortable and the beds are super comfortable. It has the best stocked kitchen and linens of any rental I’ve stayed in. The owner was nearby and was very responsive when we had a question.

Private Mountain Retreat

Property was as described. Very nice master suite on first floor and two bedrooms (queen and king beds) on second floor sharing a full bath. Make sure to follow the directions for working the showers. Very nice finishes and decorations. Kitchen had lots of countertop appliances and we cooked in for most lunches and several dinners. Although property was located at front of gated community it was still a decent hike (about 20 or so minutes) into Sylva for groceries and restaurants. William Clark was a great host, very responsive with good recommendations for hikes and activities. Would stay here again.

Great home in a great neighborhood

My family of 5 stayed for a week in this wonderful home. The home was clean, well-stocked, and in a great neighborhood with lots to do. The club, which is about a 15 minute drive, was really nice. My kids went kayaking, played on the beach, worked out in the fitness center, and enjoyed the pool. We also played tennis or pickle-ball daily and used the golf course and practice range. The executive course was beautiful and well kept. Tip: Bring all items and change of clothes for the day with you so you can avoid the drive back and forth. Be prepared to totally unplug. Cell service isn't great in the area and the home wifi is slow, which can be very common in the mountains from our experience owning a home on Beech Mountain ourselves. Nicer routers and extenders can help, but it's the mountains, so just keep that in mind. We would absolutely recommend this home and would love to come back again in the future.

Perfectly splendid

The house was perfect for our needs. The screened in deck was perfect for our fur baby. She loved sitting out all day long. The property was gorgeous. The trails were beautiful especially around the creeks. Some trails were pretty challenging but lovely. The lake club was amazing with so many amenities. Between the lake and all the rental toys, the club pools, the hot tub, the restaurant and pool bar, there was literally something for everyone. The stream on the property was so pretty with little falls that were so relaxing to sit and listen to. It was everything we wanted and more.
