The morning of our trip from Seville to Malaga the host sent a message that copies of the passports were required in advance to get the entry codes. It had 4 tries to send via "Messaage your host" to no avail.! It would have better to list this in the description.
Meanwhile we were traveling via bus with no access to internet. Landing in Malaga we phoned the host's number 2x with no answer. Finally they called us back and provided a personal email that we could send the passport photos. We set off for the apartment hoping to get the codes during the 25 min. walk. The codes came in time.
The apt. is right in the Centro and was clean enough. However, some lighting did not work in the living and bed rooms. We sent a message to the host and did not hear back from them until three days later when they wanted to know what time we planned to depart.
At one point we did see small ants in the kitchen sink. The kitchen was supplied well except a previous guest must have broken a wine glass, as there were only 3 stems for the 4 of us. The coffee machine was inadequate and the washing machine didn't have any detergent.
The biggest inconvenience was the lack of hot water. We were not able to use both showers at the same time and the hot water would run out before all of us could get in, so we had to shower in cold water several times.
Overall the location was great but the rest of the experience was impersonal and not helpful. Would have appreciated better communication!
