Pleasantly busy all year round but not too massive and authentic Spanish. Close to an airport and easily accessible. On the coast and a beautiful hinterland. Long boulevard with an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. Nice and warm and lots of sun. Lots to do in the nearby area. Torrevieja and the surrounding area
Torrevieja is situated about 40 minutes from the airports of Alicante and Murcia on a large plain between lagoons and salt lakes. Torrevieja is a bustling city (around 100,000 inhabitants) with more than 20 kilometers of sandy beaches. The center has car-free streets with many shops, restaurants, stalls at the night market and a regular fair. Various bars and discos make Torrevieja the perfect place to stroll, have a drink, go out for a nice meal or to go out into the night. There are many forms of water sports possible in Torrevieja, from wake and fly boarding to (paddle) surfing and jet skiing. For other adventurous outdoor sports, the multi adventure park Lo Rufete is approximately 20 kilometers away. In Torrevieja is also one of the largest swimming paradises on the Costa Blanca: Aquapolis. No less than eight golf courses can be found within 30 minutes. Torrevieja is also a fantastic base for city trips to Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena, all of which can be reached within an hour's drive. Shopping is not only possible in the center but also on the outskirts of Torrevieja in the Habaneras Shopping Center. In addition, the La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Center is approximately 10 kilometers away and has more than 150 shops (large branches of well-known brands and small cozy shops), so there is something for everyone.

Atalayas
Just outside the lively center of Torrevieja, at the start of the two kilometer long promenade of Torrevieja are Aldea del Mar and Las Atalayas. This is probably the most admired and prestigious property development on the southern Costa Blanca. At the start of these projects, it was the owner's dream to create extremely high-quality apartments with all the characteristics of a classic Spanish seaside village. For this he has appointed renowned architect Pedro Ortiz to design the complex. For years Ortiz traveled throughout Spain to collect old antique doors and other artifacts to include in the project. He collected oak beams for the ceilings and old wagon wheels that he built into the walls and the results are an astonishing and rightly awarded development right on the sea (Playa de los Locos). Towers overlooking the beach with its stunning modern design combined with typical classic Spanish elements. Our apartment "Casa Benu" is located on the second floor of Atalayas II. Atalayas II is a fully fenced, spacious complex with three swimming pools, children's playground and 24-hour security. Our apartment consists of: living room with 2 double sofas, kitchen with 4 burner stove, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee maker and many other kitchen appliances, 2 bedrooms with two single beds and a single sofa bed, 1 bathroom with sink, bathtub, toilet and bidet, 1 bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, balcony with 4 chairs, fitted wardrobe with washing machine. The apartment is equipped with all conveniences such as air conditioning / heating, free WiFi, television and beds made upon arrival. There are also 2 beach beds, a beach chair and a parasol available for free!

climate
Torrevieja has a unique microclimate created by the mountains near Crevillente and by the mild temperatures between 18 ° and 28 ° degrees Celsius. The region also has 2 of Europe's largest salt lakes that contribute to the microclimate. The water evaporates from the lakes of San Miguel and the Laguna de la Mata, which ensures a very healthy outdoor air.
