New memory foam mattresses with new bedding, cork flooring, stainless steel appliances, fully-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, new furnace/hot water heater, outdoor patio, new weber grill, and a covered deck on a quiet in-town dead-end street. It includes off-street parking and bikes in the shed to use for excursions to the main downtown area. The open floor plan of this home makes for a comfortable setting for families, couples, and friends. This house was built to be a VRBO rental - it is decorated very nicely without any owner knick knacks or lock offs. This is a stand alone house across from an elementary school in a very quiet neighborhood not mother in law quarters. There is a new Queen Murphy bed in the living area.

Its was shirt and sweet but absolutely loved the home! I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy all the amenities that were thought! Location is amazing! Quiet, but right in the middle of everything.
This charming place is perfect for enjoying all things Durango. The owners have thought of every detail to ensure a most comfortable stay and this was the cleanest rental ever!

This property was perfect! Location was amazing; we felt as if we had the city at our fingertips. The house was spotless and we had every amenity needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this property. Property description was spot on as well.
Do you know what they say about housing, location location location. Nathan and Tammy‘s house is fantastic and stock with everything you will ever need. As I said, the locations of this house is within two or three minutes of anything you need to do. We will be returning next year hopefully for another wonderful experience.
This property is on a cul-de-sac in a very nice neighborhood. We had beautiful fall weather and the house is just perfect. So quiet! We had a family of mule deer hang out daily. Also spotted a couple of racoons! We did have a pretty large bear run by late one night so if you are there during a time when they are not hibernating, keep an eye out! Great location!
Wonderful VRBO for a Durango visit. Location to get around was great. Beds were comfortable. Kitched well supplied with utensils. Propane grill on back porch. We stayed here six nights and had friends join us for two nights. We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the house. Even the grill and can opener had been cleaned! Was quite comfortable for two couples.
So clean and comfortable for my dad and I. Minutes from the train station and historic town. Would stay again! Loved the cork floors (not chilly to the touch).
This home is ideal for all you wish to do in Durango. It’s a 6 min drive from Main Ave shops and eateries and 30 min drive from the Purgatory Ski resort. Our family of four was very comfortable in this well appointed house. We would definitely stay again!

We are a Colorado-native family with two teenage children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. We consider ourselves lucky to live in Durango with so much to offer, including great weather and a great community. We enjoy skiing, fishing, biking, hiking, rafting, camping and paddle boarding. Nate is a fly fishing guide and has spent many years teaching skiing as well. Tammy is not a pro at any sport, but enjoys being outdoors and participating in all the activities Durango has to offer.
Why they chose this property
When we travel, we prefer staying in vacation rentals and so wanted to offer our version of a perfect vacation rental to others.

We consider this the perfect location to call home when travelling to Durango. It sits in a great location, in-town, on a quiet dead-end street with great neighbors. It is within a few blocks of the Animas River and the Animas River trail system that spans the entire town.
