Great spot for Glacier

The cabin was easy to find and right off the main road leading to glacier. It was clean and spacious, and everything was in good condition. We loved having the porch to enjoy at night!

Perfect location for GNP

We needed a home base for trips into Glacier National Park. We weren't going to stay in the park, but wanted to spend as much time as possible there. This little cabin was perfectly situated just off Hwy 2. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We preferred quiet and solitude and it had both. Highly recommend for a couple!

Glacier Park Cabin

First thing we noticed when entering cabin was how super clean it was. The cabin was very well furnished and exactly what we wanted for our Glacier National Park stay. The location to the West Entrance can’t be beat. Nice convenience store across the road where we could buy our supplies. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and very highly recommend it!

Nice cabin

The cabin was clean and attractive, very pleasant. The grounds are lovely. The managers were very helpful and easy to deal with. Our difficulty was with traffic noise. The cabin is very close to Route 2 and the train tracks, and we like to keep the windows open.

Unbeatable, cozy cabin only 6 mins from West Glacier

Our stay in the moose cabin was perfect! The property the cabins sit on is tucked away and beautiful. Moose cabin is the first one when you drive in, which we liked cuz no other cabins blocked our view towards the mountains. Check in was super easy. The cabin itself was so thoughtfully put together, and we just loved all the western artwork. 2 cans of bear spray were there, which was such a great perk (and had we realized, we prob wouldn’t have rented spray at the airport). Everything was SUPER clean. Television and cozy futon couch worked perfect. We loved the full kitchen. The cabin is legit 6 mins from the GNP entrance, which you couldn’t ask for more. Only about an hour to get to Logan’s Pass from it, which makes it perfect for those long hikes! More importantly, we realized just how much of a gem we secured when we switched over to a different stay on the East side. Both places we had in Babb cost more than the moose cabin and were actually trailers, not cute cabins like this one in West Glacier. We realized what a gem we had even MORESO after we left. It’s a great choice for your stay in Glacier, and is super close to both the airport AND the park entry. Can’t be beat!

Exactly as described

Cabin was exactly as the Internet pictures. Picture perfect. Location was close to glacier park and Columbia Falls. Better to stay outside the park. Less people and congestion. Called owner and property manager during stay and emailed thru Vrbo and no answers and could not leave voice message. Never contacted me back. Owner and property manager needs face to face for renters for questions and answers if needed.

Montana Vacation

This was an excellent place to stay for our summer hiking trip. The cabin was perfectly clean. We slept great, which was really important to my husband and I since we did two long hikes; the bed was comfortable, the temperature inside the cabin was very pleasant, and it was quiet. It was very convenient to be able to park right next to the cabin. That made it easy to take our backpacks and luggage back and forth between the cabin and car. We're very glad that this cabin was available to us for our spectacular GNP vacation.

Hiking Vacation in Glacier National Park

The Moose cabin was perfect for our trip! We stayed on the West side for two days then traveled through park on Going to the Sun Road and stayed on the East side for a few days. The cabin is located just minutes from the west park entrance. It was a cozy place to return to after a long day hiking in the park. The porch with its flowers and colored-rock landscaping was a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and drink in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. Check in and check out was contact-less and super easy. The night we checked in we couldn’t get logged on to Wi-Fi. Called the after-hours number and was told he would work on it. The next day it was fixed! (Although this worked for us, you should know that Wi-Fi and cellular service is very spotty in and near the Park.) Other reviews commented on road noise from nearby highway and train noise from nearby track. We had no problem with that used. We use noisemaker app on our phone whenever we travel. Only heard road noise when we were on porch. Disclaimer: I do love train noise! We would be happy to stay here again!

Excellent Property

Beware of giggles -- this place is filled with them! We had such a blast!!! So very close to the park. All of our worries of traffic to the park were completely taken care of with the closeness this place is to the entrance. Restaurants right near the entrance also were a great spot to grab food. Pizza delivery isn't a thing -- but the local pizza place is awesome and worth the one mile drive no matter how tired you are. All in all an absolutely fabulous stay!

Wonderful Glacier cabin

We only had 2 days in Glacier, but the cabin was wonderful! We got in late, but the digital keypad let us in with no issue. The bed and pillows were perfect after a long drive. The next day, we got up, had coffee and breakfast, made a stop at the store across the street for picnic supplies and snacks (and had a great chat with the owner), then drove into the park. Being so close to Glacier was a treat! We loved the park and drove most of the Going to the Sun Road before coming back to the cabin. We rested for awhile, then went to Columbia Falls for dinner. Even though it was pitch black when we returned, we used the store as our guide to know where to turn off the highway. We were up and gone the next morning but loved every minute in the cabin. Perfect!

Home base for Glacier NP adventures

The cabin was perfect! The property was well maintained and good courtesy lighting. The cabin was large and super comfy for 2 people. Everything was immaculate and spotless. As a launch point for the Glacier NP area it is beautifully sited. Wonderful small kitchen enables you to cook in and basic stores are handy. Loved it! Thank you to the property owners. I really liked the checking in process, super convenient.

Wonderful Moose Cabin in Coram MT

Our check in was seamless. Cabin cleanliness was outstanding. All things we could have needed to cook were in the kitchen. We chose to eat out a lot. Some good restaurants in the area. A lot were closed or closing due to the time of year and lack of help, so we just cooked in instead a few nights. Worked great. Spoke with Nicole one afternoon. She couldn’t be nicer. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early to make our flight at 6am out of Missoula. Next time we will fly into Kalispell!
