Just what we hoped for! This house worked out great for my family. There are several beaches nearby, one is just a short walk from the house. Downtown Holland has so many dining options and fun shopping. The area is perfect for a quick getaway. Rich is a great host who communicated several suggestions to us. The house is stocked with essentials, making traveling so easy! We hope to be back!
Rich was very helpful and accommodating during our stay.
The house was very clean, organized and comfortable.
The beach (Riley Street Beach) was very close by, well with walking distance. We found it interesting that the properties on both sides of the walkway down to beach and No Trespassing signs up. I didn't know that Lake Michigan had private beaches. The Holland State Park is only minutes away and that is beautiful and there are so many other things to do in Holland as well.
Anyway, our stay was very nice, Rich was an awesome host, we would definitely stay here again.
Rich is an amazing host who stayed in contact. His home was beautiful, great location, stocked, very clean, and perfect for our large family! If you’re looking in the area I HIGHLY recommend this home !!!!
Nice location if you are looking for close access to multiple beaches. A close walk to one lesser known beach, then a very short drive to Tunnel Park and the state park, plus other beaches. About 15 minutes to downtown Holland, very convenient. We enjoyed our stay here.
The house was set up really well for our family. The well-equipped kitchen and grill allowed us to cook most meals when we came back from the trails or beaches. Great location for the activities we wanted to do. We appreciated the welcome gift and Rich called when the booking was made to answer any questions. Would stay here again.
We rented this home as a second house for a family reunion. It is close to Lake Michigan and close to the first home we rented which was on Lake Michigan.
Overall I thought it was a great place to stay. Very clean and everything was accessible. And it was fairly roomy. The beds in our room were very firm.
If you plan to cook meals, you may want to bring some supplies. The kitchen is not well stocked with anything above the basics. We would rent it again.
This was a great size for our family of four. We were able to visit the lake with family who live in Holland and then have our own house to relax in at night. The house was clean and spacious, and my son loved playing basketball in the driveway. It felt like home! Rich was very quick to respond to a couple of questions I had. Thanks Rich!

Great, comfortable, convenient place
The owners were really sweet to leave goodies for us with instructions to insure our comfort and remind us of amenities. They emailed twice to make sure our experience was good and our needs being met. The house was clean, cute, and was all that was promised. We would absolutely stay again.

What a perfect vacation house!
We came with our children and grandchildren for a week's stay. The house was perfect for the 10 of us with a great kitchen and common space as well as enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The proximity to multiple beaches was amazing and we loved taking advantage of going for a few hours at a time (since our grandchildren are young). Additionally, Holland has fun family activities, which we took advantage of. We spent time at the Dutch Village and the county fair as well as picking blueberries and attending the amazing farmers market. We are already talking about a return trip!

Wonderful Home - Great Weekend Get-Away
Nothing but positives on our stay. The place was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend. The location in Holland is perfect for going to the beach or into Grand Haven and Holland.

Wonderful weekend getaway
I scheduled a Friday to Sunday weekend retreat for a bunch of guys here, and we had a wonderful experience. The open concept for the house is nice for a larger group, especially when eating, hanging out, or playing board/card games in the evening. The property was clean, well-prepared, and the amenities/provisions were helpful and satisfactory. A few of the guys had a little trouble finding the nearby beach access, but it's a short walk away and has a very "private beach" type feel to it. The air conditioning was great, and there was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The owner, Rich, was very easy to work with and helpful. He even left us some soft drinks in the fridge and some chips/salsa to welcome us when we arrived on Friday. It's the little things. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a quiet weekend retreat with your family or friends!

Why they chose this property
I love this rental as I remember walking to Riley Beach as a teenager listening to Paul Simon on my walkman and watching the sunset. It's across the street from the Lake and a 5 minute walk to Riley Beach.
