Wide Horizons Mountain Retreat - Ligwalagwala Camp (Luxury Chalet)

Ligwalagwala Camp is set on the slopes of Makungutja mountain with sweeping views over rural Swaziland. Being part of Wide Horizons Retreat accommodation, it's a peaceful getaway ideal for couples, families and small groups looking to get off the beaten track. It includes a small chalet with a queen size bed & a sleeper couch. There is an outside kitchen with planted roof, outdoor hot shower, bath & flush toilet – all of which are private but have great views.

The space
The perfect getaway to relax and unwind. There are several hiking trails for walking or trail-running. Mountain bikers can also enjoy exploring the surrounding areas (bring your own bikes). Bird life is fantastic so if you're a birding fan, this will definitely tick the box for you.
Ligwalagwala Camp is on a nature reserve where there are small amounts of game to add to your experience. A stroll down to the dam will give you a high probability of seeing some animals. Nkonyeni Golf Estate is a 25 minute drive away. They have a restaurant as well as a day spa where you can enjoy a range of treatments.

Other things to note
Travel a scenic and adventurous dirt road to get to us. Our gravel road access is not suited for vehicles with very low clearance.
We are a 40 minute drive from Ezulwini, 60 minute drive from Mbabane,
25 minute drive from Matsapha.
