Welcome to The Sea Turtle! Newly constructed (April 2017) Beachfront home on the Gulf of Mexico on beautiful Dauphin Island. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi Sound.

2 Oceanfront King Master bedrooms with en suite master baths with large walk-in showers.

The living area features deep, comfortable sofas and a 65” TV with DirectTV Satellite Choice 180+ channel package. There are TVs in every bedroom also. The house has wireless internet - wifi - throughout.

The kitchen is fully stocked with new high end Whirlpool appliances, Keurig & drip coffee makers, crockpot, and more. You will find a full size, high end, commercial grade Maytag Washer and Dryer set in the laundry area. A starter set of paper products and soaps are provided.

As beautiful as the house is, it doesn't compare to what awaits you out the back door. You will spend the majority of your time soaking up the sun outside! The sand is soft and the beach goes on in both directions as far as the eye can see. Spend the day watching boats pass by, see pods of dolphins swimming, interact with heron, pelicans, and other coastal birds fishing on the shore. Splash in the waves and find abundant sea shells. Fishing right on the shore is fun and easy. We have a fish cleaning station under the house for your convenience.

Dauphin Island is quiet and serene. This is a place you come to get away from it all. Rent bikes and explore the island shops and restaurants. Do some fishing. Go swimming. Relax the day away.

Amazing stay!

We have been visiting Dauphin Island for many years and each visit is always unforgettable. This year we stayed at the Sea Turtle and it was lovely! The home is really spacious, clean and has a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts were highly responsive to any questions we had. I strongly recommend! All the stars!

Holiday get away

Lovely stay on the island. Aside from the left over peanut shells on the deck from the previous guests, an hard uncomfortable mattress and unorganized kitchen, it was a perfect property. I loved the open floor plan so as a family we could all be together while the cooks made our meals! Each bedroom was located near a bathroom and offered privacy for each person in the room.

This house is so homey and comfortable. Very nice personal touches like power strips by the bed, rugs in all the right places and TVs in every room. It feels larger than the listed square footage. We will definitely be back!

The BEST place!

Great family vacation

The Sea Turtle is a great home with plenty of room for a big family to get together. This home is right on the beach just perfect for enjoying the water for a few minutes or the whole day. So nice to be able just to walk back to the house for a minute then right back down again. This house has everything we needed. We liveed it.

Nice, Comfortable House

Excellent layout that nicely accommodates a large group. Well stocked and spacious kitchen. Nice space under the house for relaxing and cooking out. Nice to have two grills for a large family. Great covered porch overlooking gulf and beach. Beachside porch could use a couple more chairs. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed the house.

Spectacular View

Despite the unseasonably cool weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our January stay. The house was perfect with a well stocked kitchen. We loved sitting on the deck and walking the beautiful sand beach with our dog. We’re from MN, but we hope to be back.

Thanksgiving 2023

I could not have been happier with the Sea Turtle beach house!. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook delicious meals. The layout of the house and all the bedrooms were very spacious and inviting. The beds were all very comfortable and plenty drawer and closet space for all your belongings. Upon arrival, there were no issues gaining entry and the house was immaculate. Nothing to do but relax and enjoy. Highly recommend and we will be back!! Billie R., St. Louis

Great Beachfront Property

This is our 3rd time staying at the Sea Turtle. The house has all the room our party needed. We love the location! House is fully equipped with everything. Dauphin Island is a great place to relax and unwind, especially in November. Plenty of restaurants and sites to visit. The only thing I would ask the owners to consider installing a lift. I'm 61 and it's getting harder to get everything upstairs. Overall, excellent place.

Fabulous Fall Break!

Beautiful house! The house had everything we needed, and the beach in front of the house was perfect. The men caught fish (even a couple sharks)! We watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as watched dolphins each day. We could not have asked for a better week away from home!

Family Vacation

Wonderful vacation!!! Plenty of room for 8 adults and 5 children. Very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and set on the ocean. The beach was the “back yard” which was great for the grandchildren to go out anytime. We plan to go to this same location again. Everything was great!

Amazing view!!!

Melissa’s beach house was a treat to stay in. The combination of the clean, uncluttered design plus direct access off the spacious deck to a private beach equaled the best rest and relaxation that we could have hoped for. There was a slight hiccup with housekeeping upon arrival, which Melissa addressed right away. She was very easy to communicate with, and wanted to make sure that all was taken care of immediately, which it was. We will definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We are beach and water people. A year is not complete without sand between our toes and jumping in the waves. We have visited a lot of beaches but we are always drawn back to the Gulf. Once we discovered Dauphin Island, we were hooked. This island is a little piece of undeveloped heaven. No crowds, no noise, no commercialism... just families enjoying time and nature together.
