Apartment Two is a newly renovated, two bedroom apartment housed inside Hudsons Yard House, Situated on the famous Flowergate, in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Whitby. The apartment is simple, stylish and has subtle splashes of colour throughout.
This Apartment would suit families of couples alike with everything you would need right on your doorstep.
The Space:
Located on the second floor of Hudsons Yard House, Apartment Two has fresh white walls throughout with feature walls of colour in each of the bedrooms. With soft furnishings to complement the colour palette you will find this space the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring.
Walking into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area you are welcomed with beams of natural light from the large sash style windows.
LIVING AREA
The Living space has a large three seater pale pink suede sofa with a box armchair sitting alongside. From here you can lie back and relax in front of the wall mounted, flat screen, smart TV or make plans for your trip with a glass of wine in hand.
KITCHEN
The apartment has a high gloss light grey, L-shaped kitchen. Fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay, including the basics of oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge to those little luxuries of a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.
DINING AREA
The dining area features a solid marble top dining table and black velvet chairs. You can enjoy a home-cooked meal here or have the food delivered and skip the washing up.
BEDROOM 1
Directly outside of the living and dining space you will find the first of the two bedrooms. A kingsize room with a sulking room pink feature wall and a giant studded headboard. With a pale blush mushroom shaped footstool and subtle pink cushions to match this room is soft and feminine. The walls feature chain hanging frames, a large leaf style mirror and a pencil drawn print.
BATHROOM
Head back to the hallway and you’ll find the bathroom. The bathroom includes a WC, basin and large walk in shower. The walls are tiled floor to ceiling with large grey tiles and the room is finished off with a wood effect floor.
BEDROOM 2
The second kingsize bedroom can be found at the far end of the hallway. This is the largest of the two bedrooms and features a large sash style window a duck green feature wall. A black tray style bedside table is home to the muted green table lam with gold inner. Tucked away in the corner of this room you will find two deep green velvet chairs and basket style table, the perfect space to enjoy a morning coffee or evening G&T.
Please note to access Apartment Two you need to walk up two flights of stairs, there is no lift access.
Hudsons Yard House is home to four separate apartments with a maximum capacity of 14. If you are looking for a stay for a large group there are often opportunities to rent all four apartments together. Please send us an email with your preferred dates for availability and prices.

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Pay & display parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.
Please note that there are two flights of stairs up to Apartment Two, Hudsons Yard House, therefore the apartment may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
The Neighborhood:
Apartment Two is located on the iconic Flowergate, in the centre of Whitby. You will find the flurry of shops, restaurants and bars just a few steps from the front door.
The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The famous Trenchers is nearby where you can try traditional Whitby fish and chips! On Pier Road, you’ll find nostalgic arcades which are fun for all ages..
The opposite side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Sample the catch of the day in one of the fish restaurants or visit one of the traditional sweet shops for all your candy needs.
Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary and the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
Apartment Two is located in the centre of Whitby so the town can easily be explored on foot.
Whitby train station is just a short 10-minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
