Great Cottage, Wonderful Hosts

Lake House 74 exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 6 - 2 couples with our adult children. The location of the house was perfect - just outside of Leiden, situated along a canal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Stephan was easy to contact, very responsive to all of our requests, and made us feel at home. He also had great suggestions for local activities. Be sure to rent a boat and drive through the canals to get to the center of Leiden. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Haus war groß und sehr schön eingerichtet. In der Beschreibung gab der Vermieter an, dass 3 Schlafzimmer vorhanden sind. Allerdings haben wir dort noch ein 4. vorgefunden. Man konnte gemütlich im Garten, Wohnzimmer oder am Esstisch zusammensitzen und die Zeit genießen. Leider waren wir mit der Sauberkeit nicht ganz zufrieden. 2 Schlafzimmer rochen deutlich muffig, die Vorhänge waren nicht sauber und Spinnenweben hingen an den Wänden. In der Kommode lagen gebrauchte Servietten. Im restlichen Haus gab es keinerlei Probleme mit der Sauberkeit. Ich hatte ein Problem und versuchte mit dem Vermieter zu kommunizieren. Leider verstand er meine Nachricht nicht, obwohl er angegeben hat, dass er Deutsch oder Englisch spreche und ich es über diese Sprachen versuchte. Somit konnte er uns nicht helfen.

What an amazing place

I wish I could have stayed for longer. It's bang in the centre of some really lovely surroundings - vast green fields criss crossed with canals and just a stone throw away (or a short bike ride/walk) from the Vennemeer lake and the lovely windmills next to it. It is also perfectly located as a base for exploring South and Central Netherlands. We drove up to Giethoorn and down to Kinderdijk and everything in between. Keukenhof and the tulip fields (Bollenstreek etc) are really close, being just north of Leiden.

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum entspannen mit der ganzen Familie . Tolles Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen . Und wenn doch mal etwas fehlt reicht eine kurze Nachricht. Vielen Dank nochmal .

Sehr gute Übernachtungsstätte inklusive super Einrichtung und guter Lage.

Für mehrere Personen ist es ein super Haus mit vielen Schlafmöglichkeiten. Das Haus verfügt über 3 Badezimmer. Eins sogar mit Badewanne mit Whirlpool Funktion. Die Küche bietet genügend Raum zum Verstauen und Selbstverpflegen. Des Weiteren verfügt sie über 2 Öfen und einer integrierten Kaffee-Maschine, welche die Bohnen frisch mahlt. Die Terasse im Freien ist auch ideal bei gutem Wetter zu genießen. Das Haus befindet sich in - Top - Lage. In 5 Minuten Fußweg ist direkt das Wasser für Boote und zur Abkühlung. Zum Strand ist es mit dem Auto auch nur 30 Minuten entfernt. Ein paar Minuten länger und man ist bereits in der Hauptstadt. Dieses Ferienhaus ist mir der Lage auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!
