Beautiful stone built cottage with views stretching towards Anglesey and along the Llyn Peninsula, offering comfort and a relaxing time away.. Ground Floor:
Living room: 28" Freeview TV, Woodburner, Patio Doors Leading To Garden
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Toilet (Only)
Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, (Accessed Via Bedroom 2). Oil central heating on a timer, hours dependent on time of year (additional heating is available for purchase by guests), hot water, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs, kindling, starters for wood burner included. Travel cot available on request. Welcome pack.. Access to private patio, garden furniture and portable BBQ. Access to owner’s fields for dog exercise (kindly ensure that all dog waste is collected and disposed in the green refuse bin) and also 12ft football goal for playing. Secure bike store. Two single open top sea kayaks and life jackets available to use (experienced and own transport necessary). Medium dog crate available, and also fire guard. Private parking for at least 2 cars. No smoking. Kindly use as much recycling services as possible (cardboard/paper, glass, plastic and food) in the blue recycling trolley by the back door. The owners take care of removing the trolley on a weekly basis ahead of local authority emptying. The green refuse bin is collected once every three weeks so kindly use this for other refuse that cannot be recycled, as it is required by other incoming guests. Please note: There is restricted headroom in bedrooms 2 and 3.. Beudy Bach is a lovingly renovated stone cottage located on Cilgwyn mountain with breathtaking views spanning from the Llyn Peninsula and over to Anglesey. On a clear day you can even see as far as Ireland. If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway with a great central location, then Beudy Bach is the one for you. Whether it’s for heading over to Anglesey or sampling some of the delights the Llyn Peninsula has on offer, or the Black Rock Sands beach in Porthmadog, you won’t be disappointed by how much is on offer. There are numerous mountain paths available immediately from the cottage, for novices and the more experienced.
Beudy Bach is just a short distance away from the bustling market town of Caernarfon, known around the world for its magnificent castle, a must see when you’re staying locally. Whilst you’re there you can also indulge in Caernarfon’s many restaurants, cafés and pubs - including Wales’ oldest pub and Wales’ smallest bar. The nearest pub to Beudy Bach is just 2 miles away and there are several pubs within the area of Caernarfon and Snowdonia. Another hot spot, just a short drive away within Snowdonia, is the quaint town of Beddgelert, where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the river and take a trip to Gelert’s grave to discover the story of the legendary dog. Wherever you decide to explore and visit, Beudy Bach offers a cosy retreat to return to. With the crackling wood burner, sit and enjoy a drink whilst watching the flames and taking in the beautiful views through the patio doors. Sit down as a family and share a meal in the well-equipped kitchen/dining room, then after an evening in front of the fire, playing games or just chatting and cherishing being together, head to one of the snug bedrooms for a good night’s rest and awake refreshed ready to share another memorable day.
Nearest beach is Dinas Dinlle 5½ miles for swimming and great sea fishing, and you will also find a variety of shops and cafes, an Air Museum, micro-light & helicopter pleasure flights and a dog-friendly cafe. More fresh water fishing is available in Eisteddfa, Pentrefelin, a mere 20 minutes’ drive away.
Shops, cafes and take-aways are all available in nearby Penygroes, 1 mile, and great food in the gastropub The Goat Glandwyfach in Bryncir, 15 minutes’ drive away.
