Tucked away in a small Bergens street around the corner from the Bergerbos is the Barn, a durable, architecturally-built, spacious holiday home. Here you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy luxury and comfort, with a vast nature reserve and the charming artists' village of Bergen within walking distance. The sea and beach are around 5 km away and can be easily reached by bicycle, car or local bus. The picturesque North Holland city of Alkmaar with its famous cheese market is also nearby. The Barn is 165 m2 and has a beautiful loft of 5.5 m. High. In the living area there is a comfortable large corner sofa + love seat and a separate reading / TV sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hobs (4 cooking zones), oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and kettle. The 2 large bedrooms are accessible via an open staircase and both have a spacious 2-person box spring bed. One bedroom has a separate toilet and an additional sofa bed. The house has underfloor heating and has an attractive solar powered fireplace. The Barn has its own private spa with Finnish sauna, whirlpool bath, rain shower and direct access to the little sauna garden with sun loungers. Fast e- fiber Wifi and parking is free. Most electricity is generated sustainably with its own solar panels.

Lovely renovated barn!

This home was perfect for us…two retired couples, traveling from Texas. The home was comfortable, it had nice amenities, and was perfectly located for all of our activities. Less than an hour from Amsterdam, 45 minutes from Keukenhof, an 11/2 hrs from Giethoorn, an hour from Gouda. The town center is close by, with great restaurants and grocery markets.

Wonderful stay in well equipped, holiday dwelling

We enjoyed our stay in Bergen and the surrounding environment (het Duingebied) which is ideal for cycling and walking. The Barn is in fact a converted barn, which now pairs a nice lay-out with lots of space. During an actual heat wave, the high ceilings ensure cool inside temperatures.

Wie zuhause

Wir haben uns von anfang an wie zuhause gefühlt. Es war alles da was man brauchte , sehr ordentlich und gepflegt. Hatten sogar einen sehr schönen Tannenbaum im Wohnzimmer stehen, was die stimmung nochmal deutlich besser gemacht hat. Wir können The Barn aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen und würden auch immer wieder buchen !

Schönes Haus zwischen Polder und Strand

Ein schönes Objekt für unsere fünfköpfige Familie.

Wir haben De Barn sehr genossen. Das Objekt ist toll geschnitten und hat viel Platz. Die Lage ist prima. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man schnell in der Stadtmitte und am Strand. Dorine ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin.

Schöne, liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung.

Sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Willkommensgruß haben wir eine Flasche Wein vorgefunden. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Gerne kommen wir wieder dorthin zurück

Das Objekt wirkte bei der Ankunft wie beschrieben, ist mit einem sehr großzügigen Bad und zwei größeren Schlafzimmern ausgestattet. Die Wohn/Essküche bietet sehr viel Raum auch für eine größere Runde. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Gastgeber sind - obwohl selbst auf dem Grundstück angesiedelt - nicht in Erscheinung getreten. Alles schön, wir kommen wieder.

Tolle außergewöhnliche Villa

Alles genau wie beschrieben. Vermieter waren sehr nett und haben uns zusätzlich Wickelauflage, Hochstuhl und Kindermatratze bereit gestellt. Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Die Stadt Bergen ist nur 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

Sehr schickes Ferienhaus

Sehr schick renoviert. Lage in einem Wohngebiet in Bergen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren durch die Dünenlandschaft und die Orte der Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr zufrieden

Wir waren mit dem Urlaub und der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Sehr nette Vermieter mit schneller und sehr freundlicher Kommunikation. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und sieht exakt so aus, wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Einrichtung ist gelegentlich nicht auf dem höchstem Standard, sondern hier und da auch mal "DIY"-mäßig, aber das ist alles in allem schon ok. Bergen ist ein wunderschöner Ort. Das Haus liegt leider etwas gedrängt und ohne schöne Aussicht quasi im Garten eines anderen Hauses, da gibt es leider nicht 5 Sterne und man fährt halt auch ca. 15 Min bis zum Strand, der allerdings wiederum sehr schön ist. Alles in allem haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen, wenngleich es mit Blick auf die Ausstattung und Lage nicht gerade eine Schnäppchen war und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis durchaus ein bisschen Schräglage hat Richtung Preis.

Wunderbares Objekt in Bergen

Das Objekt liegt total ruhig in einem schönen Wohngebiet von Bergen. Man erreicht den Ortskern zu Fuß in gut 10 Minuten. Die Abwicklung mit den Vermietern was sehr angenehm. Ein bisschen ungewöhnlich ist die niedrige Deckenhöhe auf der Galerie, aber das ändert nichts an dem hervorragenden Gesamteindruck.

Urlaub in Bergen Binnen

Wir verbrachten ein paar Tage in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft. Vom ersten Augenblick an haben wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt . Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Die Schlafräume sind sehr geräumig und hell, die Betten gemütlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, dennoch ist es fußläufig nicht weit zum Zentrum Bergen’s. Spaziergänger & Jogger haben den wunderschönen Wald in nächster Nähe. Unsere Fahrräder standen überdacht auf der Terrasse. Alles in Allem war es perfekt - vielen Dank nochmal für die schöne Zeit.

Holländische Nordseeküste

Die Größe und der Loft-Charakter bezaubern; die Innenausstattung entspricht nicht einer 'modernen Villa mit Spa' - mehr 'Schein als Sein'. Wünschenswert wäre eine bessere Ausstattung der Küche - für vier Personen nicht ausreichend. Preise im gehobenen Segment. Die Lage ist traumhaft; die See- und Dünenlandschaft, Kunst und Kultur lassen sich wunderbar erleben.
