Welcome to Mont Vireux

Our nature house Mont Vireux is located in a closed and walled domain at the end of a dead end. During your stay you can pick goodies from the edible garden, such as raspberries, apples, blackberries and figs. The house has a veranda on the ground floor, an entrance hall, spacious kitchen, bathroom and a living / dining room with a stove. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. On the second floor another two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Mont Vireux is located between the endless nature parks of the Viroinval in Belgium and at the foot of the equally charming Meuse valley in France. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes nearby. An edible picking route was even recently planted. In this way, an environment is created where local residents, hikers and tenants of the nature house can pick up treats from the trees. We are convinced that people, nature and food production can go hand in hand.

You can also book a tour of wild edible plants and mushrooms in the region at Forest To Plate's Ben Brumagne. Then you have the opportunity to make delicious wild food pizzas in the homemade mud pizza oven.
