Set on the owner’s working farm, it is ideally located for a romantic break away or a fun shopping trip to two of the north of England’s most famous towns. This holiday home offers wonderful accommodation with stunning views from the master bedroom. The ground floor boasts underfloor heating throughout, however the stylish wood burner provides that cosy feel for the cooler months. The country-style kitchen with sleek quartz counter top and Belfast sink is simply stunning and has all of the facilities required to cook up some great homemade meals. A large archway leads through to the living/dining room, which boasts a huge floor to ceiling window which floods the room with natural light. The comfy seating offers a reclining armchair and sofa options, ideal for a relaxing night enjoying your favourite film. The dining table and chairs sit to one side and provide plenty of seating for four guests.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, both of which have en-suites. Throughout this floor are original beams, take a while to spot the carpenter’s markings which can still be seen. In one room, the kingsize bed sits in front of a floor to ceiling window offering far reaching views across the Yorkshire countryside; just wonderful to have an early morning cup of tea and watch the sun come up. The stylish en-suite bathroom in this room is hidden behind a false wall! The second bedroom offers a zip and link option and an en suite shower room. Doors from the living and utility rooms lead out to the large enclosed garden and patio, where the seating has been arranged to make the most of the early morning sun.
Within 12 miles of Westfield Stables is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate and the historic city of York, both of which offer wonderful shopping opportunities as well as a plethora of great restaurants and thriving night life. You can enjoy an afternoon of relaxation in the Turkish Spa in Harrogate or learn about Romans and Vikings in York. If you fancy a few drinks to celebrate being away on holiday, or wish to explore further afield, the owners’ are more than happy to drop you off at the local railway station. This holiday home provides easy access to not only the Yorkshire Dales National Park, but also the stunning North York Moors National Park and the east coast towns of Whitby and Scarborough.
