Excellent location for beach, shops and restaurants, we had a family wedding which was within walking distance too. The accommodation was ideal for families and very well equipped. Loved our stay.
We stayed here for an extended weekend in February and I would recommend this house without hesitation. Although there are many positive features, there are three things that really stand out: firstly, the house itself is really well designed and equipped. Three double bedrooms and bathrooms in this type of property is rare, and there was everything that we needed to stay there comfortably with two young children. Secondly, the location is great - a mere stones throw from all the things Whitstable has to offer. Finally, the host is incredibly communicative and helpful - he went out of his way to be as accommodating as possible and we had all the information needed before we even arrived. We will hopefully return to stay here and would recommend it highly.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property and could not have asked for anything better. The location was incredible - so close to the high street and the Harbour. House was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Communication was excellent. The perfect stay! Thankyou Charles and Karen!
just back from 5 nights in Whistable - the house is so close to the Harbour and the quaint main streets full of diverse shops cafes and restaurant.
Highly recommended
Literally a stone's throw from the main road shops, and only a gentle stroll from the water. A well equipped cottage, with comfy beds and plenty of room. The road the cottage is situated on is quiet as it's not a through road, but the parking is very tight. Don't bring an SUV and expect to park it outside the house. This is no one's fault, and the home owner was upfront about this ahead of the stay, but worth mentioning. A lovely stay and I expect we will be back and recommending to friends and family.
We had a fantastic family break in this lovely house. A very clean property offering everything you need ‘A home away from home’ Great location and great contact/communication with host. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
A group of us came to support one of us who was showing photos at the nearby Horsebridge Gallery. The location suited us perfectly. Near the gallery, just off the High Street, but on a quiet side street. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Bus stops were very close. Train station was about a 10 minute level walk. There was also a lovely pool and gym facility close by with day passes for £6.50 (or £20 for the week).
Lovely home, well maintained. The beds were comfortable. It was November so we didn’t use the garden area, but it looked appealing for warmer weather.
Our host, Charles was easy to contact and quick to address any issues or questions.
One caveat: the stairs are steep so anyone with a mobility issue might want to consider sleeping on the ground floor. Those sleeping in the twin bed room will either have to use the ground floor bathroom or go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom on that floor.
As someone who does have mobility issues, I'll pass one other learning about Whitstable itself. It’s not London - you can’t just call a cab when you want one. There were often 45 minute or longer delays. So if you want to take a cab, call well in advance.
That said, it was a sweet house and the location is super. We had a great stay.
Good property, very convenient for all the culinary and cultural things town has to offer.
Plenty of space for three of us. Only small negative, en suite a bit squeezed in and would be difficult to get at, especially in the night, for anyone with limited mobility
I can only recommend to stay at number 10! The house is lovely, comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay! Its just off the main street and only 5min away from the harbour and beaches. The parking was an adventure but once we were in we didn’t need to move as everything is short walk or bus journey away.
Accommodations close to town and harbor. Lots of great places to eat close by. Was perfect for what we were looking for. Comfortable stay , quiet neighbors.
Fabulous week away in a lovely comfortable house. Plenty of room for all the family.
Excellent communication from our hosts with great recommendations for places to visit and dine out.
Whitstable has lots to offer and we will be back.
This was a wonderful holiday home that exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t be more perfect, close to the beach and just off Harbour Street. The property itself was ideal, plenty of living space, lovely garden, modern and very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
A great property located right near Harbour Street and walking distance to the beach. Charles provided lots of helpful info before our trip.
It's on a very narrow street so if you don't like driving down very tight streets then leave the 4x4 at home.
We - a family of 4 - thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully cozy cottage that provided ample space for us. The location is fantastic as it's just a stone's throw from the high street and less than 5 min walk from the harbour/beach. It was very quiet nevertheless. The beds were very comfortable, as were the towels. The only downside was that the kitchen could have been stocked a little bit more generously (herbs, olive oil, cling film etc). We'd love to come back!

Somewhat exhausted father of five...... We work in the property business in London but love Whitstable so we have renovated the house to be a 'home from home', with all modern comforts. We hope you like it as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
So comfortable! A lovely little house which we have just finished renovating. All new furniture/TV/kitchen/plumbing/decorating/flooring......Everything! We are sure you will have a wonderful stay.
What makes this property unique
Whitstable is a wonderful quirky town with a working fishermen's harbour. The house is brilliantly located with wonderful shops, bars and restaurants very close at hand. We have made a list of our favourites in the house welcome pack. Lots of activities in the area such as bowling, tennis, swimming, bicycling and beach walks. Watch the fishermen bring in a catch at the harbour and then stroll down the beach past the yacht club to The Neptune Pub or to one of the many seafood restaurants.
