Set up on a small hill at the mid level of the farm, Y Granar or "The Granary" in English is our beautiful upside down cottage. Enter on the top floor to a small but perfectly formed kitchen and living space with dining table ready for two.

Downstairs your cosy double bedroom with plenty of hanging and drawer space. Enjoy watching gazing at the stars from the terrace, watching the smart tv in the living room, relaxing in front of the flame effect fire or cooking up a feast in the kitchen.

Four legged family members will enjoy The Granary's fenced garden terrace and unlimited use of our large dedicated dog play field just down the driveway.

Geufron Farm is a walkers paradise and through the main farmyard is a quiet public footpath which will take you to Y Bryn just a few minutes away, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and a home cooked meal.

Pets welcome: With hillside walks right from the doorstep, dog friendly beaches & the local dog friendly pub just a 10 min walk away you can be sure that your best friend will have the holiday of a lifetime. Just a minutes walk from The Granary you will find our enclosed dog play field, perfect for morning walks, playing ball or just watching the world go by. The Granary has also had the paw of approval from Geufron Farm's top dogs, Bracken & Dottie.

Parking for 1 cars: Parking is available next to the front door. EV charger is also available for guest use (local charges apply)

The Granary includes:
Well equipped kitchen: All of our kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The Granary has a hob, oven with grill, as well as a refrigerator with a small freezer section. We wouldn't recommend bringing a lot of frozen food with you.
Or if you prefer not to cook the local pub is just a 15 minute walk away across the fields and Y Bryn restaurant and bar is just 5 minutes walk in the other direction.

Smart TV, Amazon Alexa & Wifi: We know how important it is to stay connected while you are away so all our properties come with free WiFi. Smart TVs allow you to keep up to date with your favourite shows and Alexa is on hand to quickly find out the weather forecast or play your favourite tunes

Pay as You Go Electric Vehicle Charger available in main parking area

INFANTS: High chair / Travel Cot for infants is available free of charge on request. Please note bedding for cots is not supplied.

Ahead of your stay:

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Ahead of your stay you will need to put in place a good housekeeping security deposit directly with the owner. Once your stay is complete and all is well at the property & grounds we will return your good housekeeping deposit to your payment card and send you a confirmation email.

- The refundable good housekeeping security deposit at The Barn, The Granary, The Cowshed, The Granary or The Little Cottage is £100.00 per stay.
- The refundable good housekeeping security deposit at The Old Farmhouse is £200 per stay.
- The refundable good housekeeping deposit for our Pool Breaks offers is £500

To put in place your security deposit we welcome you to use our secure online payment form & your Good Housekeeping deposit will be returned to your payment card shortly after your stay.

During your stay:

We simply expect guests to behave like grown-ups:

* Don't burn down the house. No candles or smoking/vaping any substances. BBQs must be safely raised from the ground so as not to damage the garden and put out & disposed of fully before you leave the garden.

* Charging electric vehicles from plug sockets is strictly prohibited. The electricity supply at Geufron Farm is not suitable for nor insured for EV charging, even with a "granny cable". We are delighted to provide you with use of our Pay-as You Go 7KW charger, located in the main parking area. A link to the charging app is included in your guest guidebook and charges will be incurred according to the current Kwh rate shown in the app.

* We are on a septic tank so please only flush toilet tissue. There are wastebaskets around the property for everything else e.g. nappies, cotton wool, face wipes etc.

* Please remove your personal belongings, food, rubbish & recycling from the property at the end of your stay. The main waste & recycling bins are located at the end of the driveway. We find it's easiest to take rubbish little & often rather than wait till the end of the stay when you may have a lot.

* Please respect the privacy of other guests who may be holidaying at the farm at the same time as you. Geufron Farm is a peaceful location, please keep the noise down, particularly at night & early morning.

* No parties or additional guests. We regret we are unable to welcome parties for pre-wedding celebrations and alike.

DOGS: We love welcoming your four legged family members on holiday with you and simply ask that you please book in & pay for all dogs who are staying with you.

A fee of £25 per dog per stay is payable directly to the owner on the secure payment link provided after booking. This helps us to provide facilities for your dog to enjoy e.g. the creation & upkeep of our dedicated dog field.

* Please respect the Doggy Code below:

Maximum Dog numbers are dependent on the size of the property at Geufron Farm

The Cowshed = up to 4 medium house trained dogs

The Granary = up to 2 smedium house trained dogs

The Little Cottage - up to 2 medium house trained dogs

The Old Farmhouse = up to 4 medium house trained dogs

The Barn = up to 4 medium house trained dogs

The Granary = up to 2 medium house trained dogs

If you have a greater number of dogs please get in touch and we'll be delighted to advise on the best property match for your needs.

Bringing your dog to stay? We welcome well behaved pooches. In order for everyone to enjoy their break away please:

Only bring your dog to stay if they are fully house trained. We regret that we cannot accept dogs who are using indoor puppy pads or similar.

Be neat and wipe your paws. If your dog needs a clean up please use one of the hoses outside & not the indoor human shower or baths. Please bring your own dog towel to dry off.

Sofas & beds are for the use of human guests only. If your dog is likely to jump onto the bed with you please contact us prior to booking to arrange that you bring your own bedding and sheets.

Bring your favourite dog bedding, crate, throws, towel, food & water bowls etc

Pick up your poops as they happen and pop them in one of the doggy bins located around the farm. Free poop bags are provided in your garden area, welcome pack and in the dog play field. Dog poops that have to be removed from the garden will be charged at a minimum of £50.

Check that you are satisfied that the area e.g. garden or dog field is safe & secure for your dog before letting them off lead. Each owner's assessment of a ‘secure area' is different as are the needs & capability of each dog. We leave it to you to make this safety assessment on behalf of your individual pet.

Don't leave your dog alone in the property, even for a short time. You might think they are ok when you leave them but trust us we hear them bark, howl, scratch and jump up at windows & doors when they are left alone. They would much rather spend their holiday with you & we'll share with you all our favourite dog friendly places to visit, eat & drink together to make life easier.

If other owners are using the dog field, please check you are both comfortable for your dogs to mix before entering the field area

Keep your dog under control. Dogs must not be allowed to chase livestock or to worry people or other dogs.

Leave the cottage & garden clean & tidy. If the property requires significant additional cleaning or there are dog poops left in the garden, we will charge a minimum £50 fee to cover the cost of putting the situation right ready for the next guests.

We gladly welcome you to stay with your exempted dog on the condition that you consistently adhere to the exemption legislation throughout your stay including, but not limited to, muzzling your dog & keeping your dog on lead when in public.

• Notification or exemption
Please notify us on your booking form if you are travelling with an exempted dog. This will help us, to help you throughout your stay.

• Verification and Documentation:
We reserve the right to request a copy of your dog’s Certificate of Exemption and proof of third-party insurance ahead of your stay.

• Public Spaces Consideration:
The dog play field is considered a public space, as it may be accessed by staff, other guests, and their pets at any time. While we encourage guests to coordinate with others before entering the dog play field, we cannot guarantee this.

• Fenced Gardens
Each owner’s definition of a ‘secure area’ varies, as do the needs and capabilities of each dog. We do not assert the security of fenced areas, including gardens. Pet owners are responsible for assessing safety before allowing their pets off-lead or muzzle & for their pets & children’s behaviour at all times.

Hi, We are the team at Geufron Farm - Dean, Hannah and Bracken 🐶 & Dottie 🐶

We wanted to take this opportunity to say hello, introduce ourselves to everyone and to put a face to our business.

The idea for Geufron Farm, a place for those who love adventure & the outdoors to recharge from everyday life was born in 2015.

We’re passionate about the restorative powers of being in the great outdoors and after decades of working in Financial Services decided we wanted a change of lifestyle too.

The search was on to find the perfect spot and when we first viewed Geufron in 2018 we knew we had found the place to make our dream come true 💫

The south of the Snowdonia National Park around us offers some of the best places for our personal favourites -

🏃🏻‍♀️ trail running,
🚵‍♀️ mountain biking,
🏔 hiking
🏄🏻‍♀️ & paddleboarding.

Not to mention some of the most amazing mountain, valley & sea views! 🌅

And with walks from the doorstep, and the local dog friendly pub just 10mins stroll over the fields, it’s a firm favourite with Bracken & Dottie too who have given the paw of approval to all our properties 🐶🐶

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you all to Geufron Farm.

All the best,
Dean, Hannah, Bracken & Dottie
