Séjour cosy comme à la maison avec la plage en plus

Grâce a Madame et Monsieur Radoubé nous avons passé un sejour merveilleux. Leur appartement est spacieux, lumineux, bien équipé et bien décoré. On a aimé les télé, netflix, disney+ les balcons, les deux salles de bains et wc. L'equipement en cuisine. Les ustensiles, vaisselles, la propreté des lieux, des textiles, la machine à laver. Les chambres sont jolies et confortables. Deux vélos étaient également a notre disposition. Nous n'avons manqué de rien, tout était a disposition. On a adoré les balcons et les chaises longues, on a pu regarder les Perseïdes sans se casser le cou en levant les yeux au ciel. Ils ont été très accueillant et ils ont pris le temps de nous faire le tour de l'appartement, de nous donner des info sur les loisirs a faire sur les lieux, pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement des équipements. Ils nous ont également aidé a monter une partie de nos bagages. Ils nous ont offert une bouteille de cidre et de biscuits. Ils sont adorables. Merci pour l'accueil. Je recommande vivement cette location, nous nous sommes senti chez nous pendant tout le séjour.

4 guys on a bike trip

A lovely apartment with everything required for a comfortable stay, Nelly and Herve the owners met us on arrival and gave us a detailed handover, unfortunately we didn’t get to use it but the apartment also came with use of a beech hut which would be a great touch for a family!

Appartement lumineux et bien placé

Appartement conforme à l'annonce et situé dans un bel immeuble, proche de la mer (500 m) et des commerces. Beaux balcons et appartement bien équipé et baigné de soleil. Excellent accueil des propriétaires. Tout est prévu pour les enfants avec de nombreux jeux de société à disposition. Les enfants ont adoré.

Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Bereits im Vorfeld sehr freundlicher Kontakt zu den Vermietern, herzlicher Empfang und Abschied. Während unseres Aufenthalts war eine Toilette defekt, die Reparatur wurde direkt veranlasst. Die Wohnung (vor allem die Bäder und das Sofa) ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehr hellhörig, es ist aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. In dem einen Schlafzimmer riecht man, dass hier früher mal geraucht wurde, da hatten wir während des gesamten Urlaubs das Fenster offen (was zum Glück aufgrund der Temperaturen möglich war); was das angeht, sind wir aber empfindlich. Wir sind mit Kleinkind (15 Monate) verreist und haben uns gefreut, dass neben Reisebett, Hochstuhl und allerlei anderem Baby- und Kinderbedarf (u. a. Spieleschrank) sogar ein Buggy vorhanden war. Die Waschmaschine und die Strandkabine mit Klappstühlen, Strandmuschel, Sandspielzeug, … sind ein echter Luxus. Geschlossene Garage mit vielen Spielsachen für draußen (Sandspielzeug, Federball), sogar ein altes Fahrrad gibt es. Die Lage war für uns perfekt: ganz ruhig, sehr schöner Spielplatz 2 Minuten zu Fuß (auf dem Weg zum Strand), Geschäfte und Markt fußläufig erreichbar, selbst mit Kindern und Buggy nur 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand (bis zur Strandkabine). Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

bel appartement avec un propriétaire très gentil et aimant. Tout était totalement simple et tout était disponible. L'appartement est dans un endroit très calme et central. Adapté aux familles et aux enfants, tout est facilement accessible à pied. Il y a un garage et un parking Je lui donne 5 étoiles sur 5.

Très bons séjour en dépit de la météo...

Appartement très confortable et propre. Nous avons apprécié sa localisation : suffisamment proche des centres d'intérêt (bord de mer, espaces de jeux pour enfants ou commerces) pour se faire toujours à pied, et en même temps face à un paysage végétal très reposant.

Ca fait du bien !

Merci à Nelly la propriétaire qui a été super arrangeante avec nous, ce qui nous a permis de passer un superbe séjour à la mer, ce dont nous avions grandement besoin par les temps qui courent. Merci également à son fils, très sympa, pour l'accueil et le départ. Appartement spacieux, lumineux, de grandes terrasses avec vue sur un grand pré avec des chevaux. Mention spéciale pour tout le matériel (lit parapluie, chaise haute, rehausseur, table à langer...) et les jeux laissés pour les enfants en bas âges, c'était top et très pratique pour ne pas voyager surchargés ! Emplacement très bien également, tout Houlgate se fait facilement à pieds : la mer, les commerces, le marché... Bref, vraiment enchantés par notre voyage, merci encore :) Audrey, Roméo et Franck

LOCATION : Très bien

Location au calme très tranquille, intérieur de l'appartement très propre, que se soit literie, salle de bains et cuisine, 3 balcons avec belle vue sur la verdure, propriétaires très accueillants et bien sympathiques, et merci beaucoup à eux pour leur délicate attention lors de notre arrivée, jus fruits, galettes, et cidre, de plus à part un jour de pluie dans la semaine sinon que du soleil ! nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation

Quiet and relaxing location

My family of four chose this property for a visit to the Memorial Service of the D-Day 75th Anniversary. It was a convenient and quiet location for us to relax. We were disappointed to find that there were no linens or towels provided as stated in the listing. That first night we had to drive to Caen to IKEA to get necessary items for a three night stay. I went back and did find one line in our reservation acceptance email that stated linens could be rented for 40 Euros, but this was never mentioned in correspondence with the owner, and I never asked because the listing stated they were included. An inconvenience, but we managed. The home also did not have wifi as stated in the VRBO listing, and when we asked how to connect to wifi, we were told the house had 4G, but no wifi. This unit is one of many within the larger structure, just so you are aware. I was under the impression that it was a stand alone house. That was no big issue except we did hear our neighbors rather late one evening. Be sure you bring a check with you to leave as a deposit upon check-in. Even with insurance coverage, we ended up having to give the owner 400 Euros in cash as a deposit, which was promptly returned to us upon check-out. Had we brought a check with us from the US, it would have saved time of going to the bank and having to have the owner meet us for check-out. Be prepared with Google translate if you do not speak or understand French. This was the only way we could communicate, and it worked well. Just be prepared if you are not a French speaker. Overall, I would stay there again if I were to be in that same area at the same time frame. It was a good value for the price paid and again was a very convenient location. Very nice and courteous owners to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
