The house internally was lovely with plenty of space for the whole family, although the exterior and garden need some attention. The hot tub was very popular and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Nice home, unfortunately not that near to the beach
Nice home, but to the beach it is 25 minutes walk not 8.
Quite difficult to get to the parking place (tight and steep), but overall we had a great holiday.
Lovely, well equipped house with great views and an unexpected, lovely welcome hamper provided on arrival. More like a 15-20 min walk from village/beach, especially back uphill which would be tricky with young kids, but plenty of parking available in village centre. House and kitchen well equipped, but would benefit from a tumble dryer as it was impossible to dry any laundry in wet weather. Additional towels (for house use) would also be welcome. Would return!
We had a lovely holiday at your beautiful house. The hot tub was an amazing bonus.Sadly all cooking pots and dishes were dirty and needed cleaning prior to use.Large shower kept flooding due to blockage upon arrival and front window was broken leaving us very open to traffic noise
The house was lovely beautiful area but we thought there would be a safe walk down to the beach my children could do it but not me being 75 . The views were outstanding. But on our first day the hot water wasn’t working rang tge housekeeper and owner to tell them no answer back from owner but housekeeper very helpful but she lived a long way away in tge end for two days my son in law had to keep redoing the pressure in the boiler. A plumber arrived after weekend and said it was an electric fault. Also the lid on the kettle was broken boiling hot water coming out but the owner sent a new one. The top drawer in dishwasher was broken and also the dimmer light in the dining room. These things might not sound much but when you have spent over £2000 for a week for my 75th with my family they become niggley things! Think the house should be checked for these faults. The house was beautifully clean and lovely towels and tge hot tub was wonderful also lots of space in the house for a family get together
Super clean, excellent property. Really well equipped, great kitchen. All four bedrooms are well setup, with lots of ensuite bathrooms. From the house it is an easy 12 minute walk down a pathway to Woolacombe beach and town. Is a little steep walking back up if you have small kids or those who struggle with mobility. Only small thing is that the photos on the VRBO page make the property look a little more isolated than it is (it's on the main road going into Woolacombe). Definitely recommended.
The property was airy, bright and well laid out. We had a nice welcome parcel when we arrived with scones, bread, jam and clotted cream! The house was well equipped and ideally suited for a group of adults like us. You need good mobility to walk to the beach (the hill is quite steep and there is a section of road without any pavement). The garden is also quite steep (and a little overgrown in places when we stayed) but great views from the top! Hot tub was great - we enjoyed this during our stay, and the garden isn’t overlooked. This was a lovely area in which to stay and we had a great time at the house.
Lovely house, really spacious and well equipped (although we had to buy more loo rolls!). Hot tub was great. Garden was very steep which we didn’t appreciate until we arrived.

Lovely house, lovely stay, owners were very helpful throughout the stay
We holiday in Woolacombe every year so know the area well and will definitely be returning to this property.
The house is clean, spacious and well equipped.
The garden is a little steep for younger children, my 5 year old managed fine but the 2 year old needed carrying up and down the hill.
Absolutely love the hot tub, beds are comfy, nice to have so much space and the toys in the second living room were a bonus.
Thank you for a lovely stay :)
Lovely house and plenty of space for 4 of us sharing. The hot tub was a special touch. Homely feel.
We enjoyed staying here. The process of renting was easy and the fresh scones on arrival was a lovely surprise.
The atmosphere was fresh and comfortable. Hotel room feel within a home.
Would highly recommend staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was lovely.
We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well equiped so had everything needed.
We did have to dash out for toilet rolls on arrival as there was only one toilet roll in one of the bathrooms but there is a garage just up the road so it wasn't a problem.
We enjoyed the hot tub but didn't see anyone all week come and check the cleaning chemicals that is usually done every couple of days, however that may just be that we missed them!
Thank you Emma for the scones and clotted cream for our arrival, they were lovely.
Great family break in a perfect location close to the beautiful Devonshire countryside and beaches.
This property was perfect for our family get together. There were a couple of sitting rooms which was great as the kids had one and we had the other! Perfect! The kitchen was large and there was plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses etc. We filled the house up and were self catering and it would have been nice to have had a couple of large cooking pans and oven trays to reflect the number of people, apart from that it was ideal for cooking and preparing. The kitchen is right next to a large dinning room which was great. There was one fridge freezer and one fridge which was very welcome and there was a utility room which had a door to the large patio. Although it wasn't the weather when we were there there were large panoramic doors leading onto the terrace with the hot tub and some amazing views down the coast and beyond. The garden is huge with a great play area for the kids. The 4 bedrooms were spacious with 3 bathrooms one being a Jack and Jill design. Lovely towels for the bathroom (bring your own for the hot tub) Unfortunately there was no toilet tissue (we are sure this was a genuine error) , but luckily there's a garage just up the road that has a small shop! The property is close to Woolacombe with all the attractions that it offers. We had a great stay and would definitely visit again, thank you.
Fantastic property. Lovely location with great views. The property had everything we needed.
Host Emma was great. Any query we had she answered straight away.
Thank you for a great stay
Just returned from a lovely week at Hill Green. The property is ideally located, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Woolacombe but not too far too walk in, either straight down the road (maybe not for those with young kids though) or through the holiday park and then countryside. We were a group of 8 friends, the house is plenty big enough with a great kitchen diner and a large dining room table ideal for game playing. The outside space was perfect for socialising, lovely views from the terrace. Good communication with Emma the owner and Helene the housekeeper. Would definitely recommend!
Wow what a beautiful house! Very child friendly and has everything! Including a stair gate, toys and a cot!
It’s on a hill so we needed a buggy to walk down, there is an off road walk down to the beach too.
Loved it will defo be back! Thank you!
I absolutely love this place, we have been a couple of times and will be back again. House is great, hottub is perfect, located up the hill from the beach. It truly is a perfect location and woolacoombe is a dream.
Emma the owner is prompt at dealing with anything and Helena the housekeeper is extremely helpful. We will be back next year
