Lovely apartment close to sea!The spaceOur family owned property of 600 m2 is situated in a lovely and peaceful village Pomena on the island of Mljet which is the eighth largest and greenest Croatian island. It is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, dry summers and mild winters and is one of the sunniest Adriatic islands. House is situated just 50 m from the sea and 300m from lakes.Our apartment provides bedroom with double and single bed, balcony and equipped kitchenette. Kitchenette features stove top, fridge, microwave, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Bathroom has shower.Thanks for considering staying with us! Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic Islands of Dalmatia. It is the greenest Island with Mediterranean vegetation, a clear and clean sea, and a gentle sandy shoreline. National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.Being located just over 15 minutes walk to Malo Jezero (Small Lake) of Mljet National Park, the village is the main entry point to the Park. Nowadays it has its hotel, a couple of restaurants and coffee bars, grocery and souvenir shops, agencies etc… As a bay, is a very safe place for anchorage, being sheltered by a tiny island of Pomestak, which acts as a local naturist beach too.Pomena is also a port where one will arrive if you take a day trip to Mljet by fast ferry from Korcula, Hvar, Split, Brac, or Dubrovnik.

Beautiful, budget friendly stay in Pomena

The hosts were lovely, when we arrived he gave us the rundown of the area and what we could do which we very much appreciated. The room was a good size, beds were comfy, there was air conditioning, a fridge, kettle and mugs, clothing rail and cupboard. There was a lovely terrace at the front of the accommodation where you could sit and sea the harbour. We went for the most budget friendly room and we were very happy with our stay.

The location was right next to the National Park, super close to the harbour, close to a lovely swimming beach and near great restaurants. The owner was super friendly, very helpful and explained all the touring options of Mljet. The apartment was very nice, and had a lovely terrace and view of the harbour and sea. Short walk from the port and just next to the walkway to Mali Most. Room is tiny but very clean and cozy. There is a fridge and kettle in the room. The owner is nice and friendly. The room is very cozy and near restaurants and the ferry landing, but far enough away as to not hear the noise. The room are adjacent to the National Park office so getting an entry permit is simple. The owner sent me a video showing me how to get to my room (nice touch)

The apartment, hosts and location were perfect. The app has a big and private balcony with the best view. Bed is comfy. Everything is clean and tidy. It's only a few minutes away from Malo jezero. A grocery store is next to the guesthouse, and all of the restaurants are nearby.
