The living area combines tasteful interior decor with lovely finishing touches to create a beautiful place to stay. Take the weight off your feet, chill out on the sofa and make yourself at home! In the kitchen, you’ll find all the modern appliances you need to cook a delicious meal that you can serve to friends or family sat around the dining table.
The master bedroom has a super comfortable king-size bed where the second bedroom has two cosy single beds which can be merged and converted into a king-size bed. The beds are equipped with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in.
You can freshen up in the two well-appointed bathrooms where you can either enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub or wake up in the morning to an energising shower. Towels and toiletries will be provided.
And of course, let us not forget to mention our amazing patio where you can sit in the sunshine and enjoy the fresh air and the amazing location.
Guest Access:
You will have full private access to the property for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Clapham is one of the most popular places to live in London because of its abundance of public green space, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, excellent transport connections and number and variety of excellent places to eat and drink. In the midst of this large area of south London, you’ll find Clapham Common, a large park with plenty of open spaces to relax and play. With fantastic transport links from Clapham Junction into central London and out to all the main airports, as well as national railway stations and the Northern line, this is an ideal place to stay. The majority of Clapham has a distinct village feel to it with a large treasure trove of pubs and restaurants to try! If the arts are your thing, then check out the weekly listings at the small but well regarded Clapham Omnibus Theatre, or if you’re in the mood to learn about sweet treats, then head to the Chocolate Museum in neighbouring Brixton.
There is a large pub scene in Clapham! Enjoy the gardens with a jug of Pimms at The Sun in Clapham Old Town. The Prince of Wales is a unique and quirky pub, filled with little eccentricities and odd decor which makes for a fun and interesting evening pint. The restaurants in the area won’t disappoint either. For a decently priced Michelin-starred restaurant, visit Trinity - reservations are definitely required at this popular eatery but don’t let that stop you! Franco Manca is less up-market, but an equally delicious Italian sourdough pizza joint and definitely worth a visit. Each Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm on Clapham Common you can enjoy a stroll around, Venn Street Market, where your senses will be treated to a range of cheese, fish, organic veg and meat stalls. At the weekend, Clapham is all about brunch, with reservations going fast and queues often forming down the street at popular brunch spot on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Fantasia and Minnow are both good places for a late morning meal, but there are plenty of other good spots in the local area.
Getting Around:
You are exactly equidistant from Clapham Junction and Clapham North tube. You can also walk Wandsworth Common. So you can choose to use the overground or underground system. It is around a 12-minute walk to any of these stations. If you want to get to Clapham Junction more quickly, walk to Northcote Road (right out of the flat, first left, first right) and stop at the first bus stop. The G1 or the 319 will take you to Clapham Junction in a couple of minutes. These buses are frequent and run until late.
The Citymapper app is highly recommended for help getting around!
Other Things to Note:
Fresh bed linen, towels, fluffy pillows, toiletries and other necessities are provided for a comfortable stay. Our 24/7 support team will also be available if you ever needed anything more.
This flat is in a quiet residential area and we have neighbours who are sensitive to noise. Therefore this flat is not suitable for families with very young children who are likely to make a lot of noise or for people who want to make noise until late at night. Parties are absolutely not permitted!
The neighbors are doing some refurbishments to their property which affects the outside kitchen area. Our sincere apologies for any inconveniences this may cause.
