Charming, roomy house in a great location to walk around the city. Large rooms, very pretty kitchen. The back courtyard was full of tree debris when we were there so we didn’t sit out but it was very cute!
Lovely house in charming Savannah. Everything we needed - plenty of space and all the amenities. We walked everywhere - saw all the squares in Savannah. And awesome to have our own patio after all that walking. We had one small issue and Patricia was responsive and tending to it immediately.
The location was great because we enjoyed walking through the beautiful gardens. The home was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and towels nice. We had a little difficulty getting the shower to work but once we figured out the process it worked well. We had trouble opening the door but here again once we figured the process it worked. Bring your own coffee and creamer. If you want to cook dinner in this unit, I think you could do it without much difficulty. Here again - well appointed. Had dinner at Common Thread. - hands down our best dinner in Savannah. Good day trips to Tybee Island, Hilton Head and Wormsloe Park - all excellent.
This property delivered in every way. First and foremost, it is a really nice home with plenty of room for two couples. It is well decorated, has all the amenities we needed, and is conveniently located within walking distance of almost everywhere we wanted to go during our weeklong stay. For the few times we drove (day trip to Charleston, Wormsloe, Bonaventure Cemetery, Tybee Island, etc.), it was nice knowing we could park right in front of the house in a safe neighborhood. Our host, Patricia, was very responsive and answered all our questions. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to stay here again.
I was pleasantly surprised at the size, comfort and location of the property. The rooms were all spacious and decorated with beautiful abstract artworks. Though located only a few blocks from Forsyth Park, the neighborhood was quiet and parking was very easy. The property is situated in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality pans, etc. The property manager was extremely responsive. The property could use updating especially in it's heating/ac system, thermostat and shower. The shower, like Savannah in general, has poor water pressure but it took way too long to heat up. Overall, despite these glitches, it was a wonderful experience and I recommend 440 Lincoln.
The house was in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Property manager was very responsive when we had issues with the hot water and had it repaired quickly. Perfect affordable spot to stay while visiting Savannah!
We stayed at this property for the Thanksgiving holiday and it was wonderful! The property is even more beautiful in person. We had plenty of space for 3 adults. We loved that so many restaurants, shops, and parks were within walking distance. Check in/out process and Wi-Fi access was seamless. Highly recommend staying here!
The house was so nice and really old Savannah style! Perfect location was able to walk everywhere we went. Safe area and also close to the grocery store if needed. Host was amazing and very accommodating!
This home was perfectly located in the heart of the Savannah historical district, which was lovely to wander around and reasonably close to a lot of food options. It was a great home base for our long weekend in Savannah!
Husband and I stayed nine nights for our honeymoon. The home is beautiful, has original historic charm and is spacious. The house was clean, things were not. The stove was dirty the griddle was rusted and unusable, the toaster, tea kettle and coffee pot were too dirty/rusted/scaley to use, baking sheets were unusable unless covered with foil. There is no broom/vacuum. There was one dishtowel, no dish cloths. We chose this home in part based on the kitchen because we like to cook but it’s not supplied to be able to. We bought a frying pan/aluminum pans while we were there so we could. Cooking utensils are limited and in bad shape, knives would barely cut vegetables. The couches were uncomfortable, low, short back, thin hard cushions, the chairs are no better, we watched tv in accent chairs with pillows stuffed around us to try to be comfortable. After walking all day and doing all the things there are to do you want a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day, there is nowhere to do that. We bought a topper for the firm mattress, which made it very comfortable. There are no TV’s in the bedroom which is fine but it was the most comfortable spot in the house a TV would have been nice. There is barely any water pressure, I understand that may be how it is in this older house, but instead of the rainfall and handheld showerhead, I would have enjoyed a single shower head that put out more water flow. It was almost impossible to get the soap out of my hair in this shower.
Location and convenience made for a wonderful stay. This town home had it all. From Kroger, to Cafes and everything in between all within walking distance. All we had to do is park when we arrived and pulled out when we checked out. The town home itself was cozy and very spacious all at the same time. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was at our fingertips. Great stay!
We had a fantastic week. The location was perfect, within walking distance of key attractions, restaurants, and shops. The historic home was beautifully preserved, clean, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and living area. The air conditioning was great for the summer heat, and the host. The neighborhood was lively yet safe, blending historic charm with modern amenities. Overall, it was an exceptional experience that I highly recommend.
We will be back!
We came for the national beta competition with our kids. Location was spacious, clean and as described. Parking was on street but easy to find. Manager was nice and helped us with the thermostat. Would recommend!
Lovely, spacious two bedroom townhome near Forsyth park. This is a Beautiful home in the historic district with on site/on street parking. Would recommend!
This is a great place to stay! The convenience is perfect. It’s very close to Forsyth park which is a beautiful place to walk around. You can also walk to a nearby grocery store. Clary’s Cafe is nearby for a great breakfast. The kitchen is well equipped. The home is beautiful and spacious. Two upstairs bedrooms and one bathroom worked out fine. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This property is well maintained. Nice amenities. Nice location. Parking was easy. Check-in and out was easy. We were missing soap for the bathroom and the patio was not set up to eat a meal but that didn't stop us from enjoying coffee outside in the mornings. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. We walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you.
