About this property
Tudor Rose, Aylsham, Norfolk
Peacefully nestled into the heart of rural North Norfolk, Tudor Rose is a dainty charming barn offering accommodation for two adults on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Aylsham. Beautifully curated throughout, and boasting incredible countryside views, this hideaway is the perfect retreat for a couple or a solo traveller.
Entered via an attractive porch, the ground floor comprises of a convenient shower room with walk-in rainforest shower, a well-equipped modern country kitchen and a cosy sitting. Natural light pours in from the grand window that frames stunning uninterrupted views across neighbouring fields. On chillier evenings, nestle into the sumptuous sofas while watching a film on the Smart television, as the cast iron gas stove crackles. A combined dining area with seating for two guests completes this floor.
Climb the winding stairs to arrive into the handsomely appointed spacious master bedroom. Hosting an inviting king-size bed dressed in fine linens, this bedroom also features a decadent slipper bath under vaulted ceilings. Curated with a tranquil colour palette, with only the sound of silence, this bedroom invites a deep restful sleep.
Outside, a small private terrace with potted plants and a bistro set makes an idyllic suntrap where coffee or wine can be enjoyed. A private area provides off-road parking.
Though enveloped by beautiful countryside, Tudor Rose is a mere few minutes walk from Aylsham, a traditional unspoilt market town hosting independent shops, cafes and pubs. The magnificent National Trust Jacobaean property of Blickling Hall is within walking distance, and offers tours of the house and stunning gardens. Within a short car journey, North Norfolk's numerous sandy beaches can be reached. Only twenty minutes by car, Wroxham, a gateway to the Norfolk Broads, is located.
