Great Porto stay

This property was perfect for our family's 3 day visit to Porto. Very clean and nice property, and good base location for exploring the town and surrounding area.

Perfect Location

The Location was ideal, but weather was cold so it was not fair to judge this trip,Bruno was great and very responsive and helpful.Would love to go back in warmer season.

Loved Bruno's Wine House!

Bruno's Wine House is absolutely wonderful! Very update and very clean! It had everything possible to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen was very well equipped!

Good location for walking around

Perfect place to stay in Porto!!!

Bruno was an exceptional host and was very responsive. The property is beautiful with original hardwood and tile, beautiful decor and a perfect walkable location! I would absolutely recommend! Our family of four had a wonderful stay and were very comfortable!

Not great location

The apartment more or less matched the online listing, but the layout made it quite claustrophobic, even for two people. Pots, pans, cooking utensils barely useable. High-tech oven-stovetop-microwave but couldn't figure out how to use them. Bruno was more than helpful when called on, but the property itself backs onto a busy street with 4-hour parking, useless for overnight. Misjudged how difficult it would be to navigate by car.

Porto 2024

We had a wonderful stay at Bruno’s Wine House. The apartment had plenty of room for us to spread out our belongings. We were able to catch the metro and tour Porto very easily. Vila Nova de Gaia is an interesting town, with all of the port wine houses located close to our accommodation. It was extremely helpful that Bruno had a washer/dryer available for us, since we had been travelling for over one week before we arrived at his property and finding a laundromat is difficult.

Best for last

This was our last stop on our vacation and Bruno's place was the nicest of the 5 places we stayed over our 2 week vacation. Great communication with Bruno. We were able to get access a few hours early and he also allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment for a few hours after check out. Located across the river from downtown Porto but it's just a quick15- 20 minute walk to river and tons of shops and restaurants. Also close to metro station if you want to take the train. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Porto.

Good spot

The apartment was clean and as expected. Air conditioners present, but because that area of Gaia is quite humid, it felt damp at times. Street Parking only. Pay street parking nearby, free a couple of blocks away. Hilly area, like most of Portugal, but wecouldeasily walk north to Porto.

Perfect location

The apartment was located in a beautiful part of town. The front balcony has an incredible view of the city. The back yard / courtyard was very peaceful and a great place relax after exploring the city. The Lidl grocery store was just around the corner and very convenient. Highly recommended

Nice little place in perfect location

The place was exactly as expected, very cute, clean and in perfect location. We walked everywhere from there. It has easy access to all the cool places and restaurants. Bruno was very helpful and responded to us very quickly. We liked Bruno's visit when he gave us many tips of where to go and what to see. While there you have to visit at least one of the Port Cellars.

Gorgeous Apartment, Fabulous Host!

We loved Bruno’s Wine House so much! It’s the most beautiful apartment on the street! It was so comfortable, with a fantastic layout and beautiful details. We all wanted to move in. Bruno was an amazing host. He was so communicative and checked in on us to ensure we were happy. If you want to stay somewhere quieter, but close walking distance to the river and Porto, this is the place for you. I highly recommend. Bruno has thought of everything!

Lovely and fully equipped apartment

Bruno's Wine House was perfect for our stay in Gaia. After getting used to the steep hills of Gaia and Porto, we really appreciated the location of Bruno's. Beautiful views, lots of room, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of light. The only drawback is that the living room couch was not the most comfortable (a bit too firm), but since most of our time was spent exploring, it wasn't a major drawback. I highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for the comforts of home away from home.

Great experience at Bruno’s Wine House

We thoroughly enjoyed Vila Nova da Gaia and Porto on our visit. Bruno was a very good communicator before, during and after our stay. We left an important item behind and Bruno (and his Mother) went above and beyond to help us get back to pick it up. We travelled to Braga City to meet Bruno’s Mother and followed his advice on visiting areas in Braga Centro. An amazing hidden gem. So much to see and do there. We visited the beautiful Braga Cathedral and the surrounding area near ithe cathedral t is a beautiful pedestrian shopping and dining zone. Thank you very much Bruno. Schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir waren zu zweit und sind 5 Tage in Porto gewesen. Das Appartement befindet sich in einem Altbau, ist zweckmäßig/modern eingerichtet und hat uns für die Zeit ein schönes Zuhause gegeben. Die Kommunikation mit Bruno war immer unkompliziert und freundlich. Es sind einige Höhenmeter zu bewältigen, um von der Altstadt zurück ins Appartement zu kommen. Mit der Zeit haben wir "Flachländer" uns daran gewöhnt. :-) Noch ein Tipp: Am günstigsten kommt man mit UBER z.B. vom Airport zur Unterkunft. Taxi = 50€, UBER = 20€ Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Wonderful stay in Porto

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at Bruno’s Wine House. We loved staying on the quiet Nova da Gaia side of Porto (although on some days, walking up the hill after a full day of sight seeing, was hard for 3 seniors…thank heavens for Uber!). Our host could not have been more accommodating to all our needs! We all highly recommend Bruno’s quiet and well appointed apartment and will tell our friends to stay there on their visit to Porto
