Fisherman’s Cottage Looe

We enjoyed a week in this lovely cottage. It was spotless, very well equipped and had a large shower room and very comfy beds. It has a pretty garden with glimpses of the sea - a chance to have breakfast outside in warmer weather. Communication with the owner was very good. The cottage is walking distance downhill into Looe with a good general store/deli at the bottom of the road. Looe has plenty of eateries and is well situated for days out to Lanhydrock, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and other interesting places.

A week in Looe

A lovely cottage in a great location. Cold in the main bedroom because it has no heating in it. The smart tv hasn’t been connected to the internet, so it isn’t smart. It had a nice homely atmosphere and very nice biscuits.

Parking

The property was perfect but was spoiled by the lack of parking nearby. We had to use a public carpark some 15 mins walk away and pay for the privilege of doing so! Apart from this we enjoyed our stay in Looe but because of the parking we wouldn’t choose this property again.

Cosy West Looe Cottage

Beautifully restored. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elegant bathroom. Cosy lounge with lovely log burner. Kitchen diner just right for four. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer and still been entertained. A great base for walking, exploring beaches, travelling to Eden Project, and other Cornish attractions. Looe has great restaurants, and quite a range of shops. We parked for free at Hannafore. We only used the car on one day. Looe is very much “do-able” on foot. Katherine was a super responsive host responding within minutes when contacted. Overall an excellent place to stay in West Looe.

Excellent family holiday

We had a fantastic week in this cottage. The location is ideal for a young family, very peaceful whilst also only a short walk to the attractions in Looe. The cottage is on a steep hill but we had no problems with a pram and 5 year old. The cottage itself was lovely. Extremely clean and tidy but also very cosy and comfortable. We were also really surprised by the amount of space inside the cottage. The bedrooms were very large with plenty of room for a cot. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would hope to stay again.

Wonderful October week.

Beautifully traditional cottage, exposed stonewalls & beams. Wonderfully comfortable, with what looks like a brand new Modern Kitchen & bathroom. Well equipped, great location. Loved the small, but perfectly formed garden with that spectacular view to the sea. Would love to return in the spring or summer months.

Idealic break

This is a beautiful, well presented property in the perfect location of Looe. The area is simply stunning and the cottage is very handy for shopping, enjoying a pub meal or accessing the coastal paths. The cottage itself is suprisingly spacious with everything you could need for your stay, and an amazingly comfortable bed! Communication with the owner was very easy and straight forward, and I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality.

Fisherman’s Cottage

The cottage was very quaint and an ideal bolt hole for a few days away, very clean and tidy and within a short walk of the local amenities.
