About this property

Crystal Lake South Shore Private Beach w/ Dock

Recently remodeled cottage with the second floor added just a few years ago. Private sandy beach with a dock on Crystal Lake's south shore right in front of a very long sandbar. The beach has a firepit and is right on the Betsie Valley Trail. Bike to Frankfort, walk into Beulah's downtown, or just relax on the hammocks...

Rental includes use of several bikes, a small hoist, a buoy, and 1 kid-sized & 2 adult kayaks!

The beach is across a small road - It is a slow public street, used primarily by the owners and renters on the south side of Crystal Lake. Most of the traffic you will experience will be bikers & joggers using the Betsie Valley Trail.

Lower level has a spacious living room, kitchen with gas stove and mud room to clean up from the outdoors.

Bedrooms:
Master bedroom has a Queen bed and overlooks the lake.
* There is also a special needs crib. Please contact us before using if you think you might need it.
Bedroom 2: Bunk Bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 3: Full size bed with a twin loft over it (sleeps 3)
Bedroom 4: Queen bed and bunk bed (sleeps 4)

Great location in beautiful Crystal Lake

We truly enjoyed this lake house. Perfect distance to town on a beautiful lake in the Sleeping Bear area. Great for family vacations.

Perfect Crystal Location

We have spent a week on Crystal Lake each summer for decades, so we've experienced a wide range of rental conditions. This was by far the most generously and thoughtfully appointed property we've encountered. As if the prime location on Michigan's most beautiful inland lake weren't enough, the homeowners did a wonderful job of making sure we had everything we needed for a carefree, fun stay. Thank you so much for responding quickly to our questions and for all the special touches that made this an amazing family vacation! We would definitely return, and would recommend this cozy, comfortable and amenity-rich cottage to anyone looking for the quintessential south shore experience.

Crystal lake cottage

The property was as advertised. Good location close to Beulah, very nice walking, running, biking trail along south side of the lake. House was clean and well laid out for a family with kids. Outside was fine but could use some general maintenance, weed/grass trimming and clean up around beach patio.

Love the location, the beach, and the house itself. It was perfect for our family of 10 to enjoy each other's company and lots of low stress days on the beach or walking / biking the trail. We enjoyed watching the resident eagle almost every day. Hope to be back again soon.

Great stay!

Property had an incredible location. Walkable to downtown Beulah on the Betsie trail. David was very responsive, kind, and has anything you could possibly need available to you. Property was clean and had enough space for all 9 of us (3 couples, one with two children 6.5 and 1y/o, and one other adult). My family would certainly stay here again in the future.

Crystal Lake Getaway

Beautiful, spacious house with a great view of the lake. Walking distance to Beulah. My family really enjoyed the beach front

Great place especially for a large group.

The cottage was spacious to handle all 10 of us. Everything was very well maintained. It was nice to have linens provided as that can be a hassle sometimes. Crystal Lake and Beulah are great vacation destinations. The owners were very accommodating and answered all questions promptly and courteously. The only drawback was the lack of central air. I guess we are spoiled.

Great place to stay. Wonderful house with everything you need for your stay. The lake and beachfront was beautiful. Very relaxing with lots to do around the local towns.
