NB: Please note that the cottage is nearly 300 years old with low ceilings/doors and a steep narrow staircase, so sadly is not really suitable for those with impaired movement. Our 6 year old grandaughter said once "Granny these are stairs are too small for my feet"

The Perfect Retreat!

Me and my partner stayed at Mistletoe Cottage for the first time as a getaway between Christmas & New Year. The cottage is cosy, charming and provided the ideal setting for a peaceful winter getaway. The owner’s hospitality was outstanding—they went above and beyond to make our stay special, leaving thoughtful touches for our arrival like milk, wine and more than enough logs for the fire throughout our stay.Reading through the guest book, it’s no surprise that so many people return to this lovely cottage year after year. We can’t wait to come back ourselves and experience this wonderful retreat again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with fantastic hosts!

6 night stay

Had a lovely time at Mistletoe Cottage. It is a beautiful property, very well furnished and very comfortable to stay in. Stairs are a challenge but not bad once you get used to them. Linda and Andrew were marvelous hosts and available for any enquiries or just a quick chat. Loved seeing Cooper everyday too. Will definitely visit again.

Fabulous cottage

We were bowled over by the beauty of this cottage, its surroundings and the thoughtfulness of our hosts. Notwithstanding the song thrush serenading us throughout our stay, the peace and quiet was a joy, the cottage was clean, comfy and full of books and jigsaws. We'll need a month next time! Thank you to Linda & Andrew.

Peaceful and beautiful place

Wow, I've never stayed in a 300 year old building before, it's part of history. What a beautiful place Andrew has, the cottage is spacious (watch out for a couple of low beams though), well fitted throughout with quality items including a comfortable bed. Fully functioning kitchen. We loved using the fireplace and bbq in the evenings and sitting outside in the day enjoying views of the surrounding countryside. Andrew was super helpful and friendly and offered good tips on local walks. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. Absolute bargain compared to other places in the area.

Wonderful little find 😊😊

The cottage was absolutely delightful and all of the original features still in place . It was also spotlessly clean and also very warm cosy . The cottage is in fantastic location for exploring Suffolk by car. The owners were very friendly, they also live nearby if you have any questions . The bottle of wine and fresh milk was a lovely touch , thank you ! We do hope to return to this wonderful cottage sometime in the future. Best wishes Martina & Mark

Beautiful old cottage

Very quite relaxed break. The cottage has everything you need , the log burner makes the living room very cosy. The bath is excellent for a soak after a busy day walking and exploring. The owners Andy and Louise are lovely and nothing is to much trouble. The little touches like fresh milk and a bottle of wine were much appreciated. Looking forward to a return visit.

A welcome retreat.

The property had everything we needed for our mini break. It was cosy and warm even when the weather turned colder. The original features include low beams and doorways. The location made it a great base for touring Suffolk beaches.

We had a lovely stay in this delightful cottage - it was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very cosy with its beamed ceilings. The cottage is in a beautiful and peaceful part of the world too. The hosts, Andrew and Linda, were charming and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

A wonderful place

We were delighted with this beautiful little cottage - so much character and such wonderful and helpful hosts. We have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. Just one thing, the on line listing address wasn't entirely accurate so we recommend contacting Andrew and Linda for the exact address and directions.

Mistletoe Cottage, Sibton Green, Yoxford

This is a gorgeous little cottage in a quiet and idyllic location, but only five minutes or so from Yoxford and the A12. The cottage is cosy, warm and sunlit with snug rooms (exposed beams, and wood burner in the lounge) and a well equipped kitchen. The sunny patio is also a great bonus. The ceilings are low and the doorways low and narrow - but you soon learn to duck! The off street parking is a real bonus . This is an ideal place to relax and to get away from it all, whatever the weather, with kind and thoughtful hosts. Highly recommended!

Fantastic

Brilliant Easter break in this charming little cottage, a very warm welcome from the owners with a lovely bottle of wine, great area with walks from outside the gate.inside the property is very compact and very clean. Lovely little cottage

Mistletoe cottage is a real away from it all place. Set in the midst of countryside, it is peaceful and quiet but within easy reach of lots of places to visit. The cottage has everything. The log fire was a lovely addition to the central heating and the little dishwasher was just perfect. Gorgeous big towels & beautiful bed linen completed the careful preparation of the cottage. The owners were very nice and left tea, coffee & milk plus a bottle of wine for us. A lovely touch & very thoughtful. We would definitely stay at Mistletoe cottage again. Thank you Linda and Andrew

Very quaint quiet and if you want complete rest this is for you

Lovely and restful lovely cottage but you do have to remember to keep your head down as some doors and beams are very low just right for walking and exploring

Peaceful and Comfortable

Accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos. Shared pathway gives a clear view into gardens/2 cottages opposite but as our stay was out of season we hardly saw anyone. Mistletoe Cottage has a well kept patio and garden to the rear of the cottage is also well maintained. A pretty setting. Nice touch to have received a bottle of wine upon arrival as well as a carton of milk. Instructions for maintaining upkeep of cottage were easy to follow.
