Lusitana Beach House
We were a familiy of six and enjoyed staying at this beautiful and relatively new house very much.
Communication with Paulo was super reliable and speedy and always very helpful - Thank you very much! Check-in was perfectly organized. Upon arrival the house was clean and met the description very well. Beds were very comfortable. The house ist spacious and the big windows make it very light and welcoming.
It is a short walk from the main beaches of Porto Covo and only 10 mins. walk from the centre of town which makes it a perfect location for dining out. Another great plus is the proximity to the bus stop with rete expressos going into Lisboa (Sete Rios Bus Terminal) 10 times a day. A car is not be necessary at all. Paulo and his team offered a cleaning service mid-stay and towels were replaced regularly, which was great.
The only downside:
The house - unfortunately - is located in an area that sees a lot of development at the moment. This came with considerable construction noises during weekdays from several construction sites located 50 - 200 metres away from the house. We did not mind this, since we were gone for most of the day. Anybody who wishes to stay at the house during the day for a longer period of time should be aware of this, though. I would assume that the construction sites should be finished in a few months, so this is only a temporary issue.
All in all we enjoyed our vacation very much.
