About this property

Cozy Nook a cosy 2-Bed House in Oakham, Rutland

Enjoy everything Oakham has to offer! Spend your days discovering the surrounding area as there are many things to do nearby. Your home away from home gives you exclusive access to an entire house designed to allow you to live as a local.

Due to the huge success of Honeysuckle House, my other holiday home in Oakham I have added Cozy Nook.

Cozy Nook is a cosy 2 bedroomed terraced cottage, an easy ten minute walk from Oakham Train station and Oakham high street with its many cafes and restaurants. Cozy Nook boasts two sumptuous bedrooms, one with a super king bed (6ft) the other bedroom, although compact, has a king size bed (5ft) (no room to walk around bottom of bed) big beds for the best nights rest, as we all know how important a good nights sleep is. Cozy Nook has a small private courtyard together with an intimate garden space, the perfect place to relax and unwind.
One full size bathroom with shower over bath, downstairs one toilet with basin.
Kings road has on street parking which can be a bit tricky at times, however, there is usually plenty of space at top of Kings Road where
Cozy Nook is situated and you can usually park outside the property. Cozy Nook is a perfect hideaway in our beautiful county of Rutland. Cozy Nook does not accept pets.

Comfortable stay

A great short break at this property. The house was perfect for our party of two adults and our 11 year old. Whilst the living room was small there are two sofas and large tv and the kitchen/dining area was far larger than the photos suggested! The biggest and most comfortable beds made for a great nights sleep. Parking was always easy outside the property. Very handy Co-op across the road and some lovely gifts left by the hosts. Thanks for a great stay.

Super cosy!

Lovely stay in a property that has everything (and more)! Great location for Rutland Water and just a short walk into the town, with a lovely independent bookshop. The local Co-op was great for fresh bits and bobs... the tip in the house manual of the cut through made it very local indeed. Second time we have stayed in a property from these hosts and will stay again. Many thanks.

Perfect stay in every way

From the moment we walked in through the door Cozy Nook has been an absolutely perfect stay and Tracey (the owner) has been amazing - we have stayed in many cottages on our travels and Cozy Nook is way up there. The cottage really is very cozy & warm for this winter weather we are having and decorated beautifully with two great bedrooms, a fantastic kitchen & dining room area and a great lounge. The weather is a little too chilly to enjoy the outside patio area but it looks charming. Internet, TV, streaming services, hot water & heating all work perfectly. An extra and very thoughtful treat was that the cottage has been decorated with festive cheer. So easy to walk in to the center of Oakham (5 minutes) to enjoy all this town has to offer. Tracey checked in by text every few days to see if we needed anything and is the perfect hostess. An amazing, home from home - so highly recommended.

Well very presented, cosy and clean house

The owner goes to a lot of effort in making the accommodation homely but special feeling. There’s a little outside space which we had breakfast at the table in the morning and drinks at the other end in the evening. The house is located 10 mins walk from the shops, pubs and the castle in Oakham (at the end of the road there is a very useful Co-oo though for fresh bread in the morning!). Parking is on the road and I felt we were quite lucky to always get a spot outside the house. Everything is provided including tea/coffee etc, and towels - though my toddler cried when I used them on him as they were quite scratchy! Overall a great place for families or couples relax, enjoy and explore the area.
