Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy

sunny, spacious and homey but too many knick knacks and sensitive downstairs resident.

Lovely large rooms, high ceilings, pretty outlook onto a sunny garden. Quiet street convenient to tube and shops, near busy Swiss Cottage area. Flat was clean, spacious and comfortable but a little tired and old fashioned with too many knick knacks, small personal items, messy handwritten instruction notes for tenants (us) scattered around. Bathrooms fine but we lost hot water at some point, luckily dug up a note that instructed us as how to fix that. There is a combined washer dryer but dryer takes forever. Also the downstairs neighbor seems extra sensitive to noise (a note warned us about this) and complained on our first day probably because of the noise we made lugging our big suitcases in and/or having dinner in late (due to jet lag) on our first evening (after that we opted to eat out). Overall pleasant stay, pretty streets of Belsize Park (walkable) are close by as is Hamstead (quick ride or tube). Nearby Finchley Road/Swiss Cottage area is practical but pretty ordinary.
