The Only Thing We Will Not Miss About Paris
Only three positives to report: Location, hot water, and heater. Negatives: Despite the non-smoking sign and written warning, that is the first thing that greets you when you open the door, the smell of cigarettes. This did not bother us nearly as much as the moldy shower and adjoining wall. Despite being disgusting, it can also be harmful to your health. We even bought a spray to clean it hoping that would help but to no avail. The walls are also filthy and the place overall looks like it hasn’t been cleaned and dusted properly in quite a while. The sofa bed is also falling apart. The bathroom floor also gets soaking wet from the shower quite easily so when we asked for another towel we were told that we would be given one shortly but the towel never came. Before our arrival we also asked for an early check-in but we were given a link that didn’t work. When I reached out and asked them for help, it was always the same response, that they would look into the problem and let us know. They never followed up with anything. So despite arriving in Paris at 5am, we were made to wait until 3pm. Petty honestly. Additionally and perhaps worst of all, there were a lot of little roaches in the kitchen and even some in the bathroom.
