Fantastic stay in a beautiful space

We booked The Hagguard for a much needed weekend getaway for me and my friends to decompress from big cities, work, and life. It ended up being a really lovely place for us to do just that and more. From the day before we arrived to the day we left, Pam was helpful, welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. All while giving us the space to explore the area and enjoy our stay. She even helped us coordinate transport from Kilgetty train station. (NB: it's worth mentioning that you'll need a car to get around Kilgetty and the neighbouring areas). The home was super clean, tidy, and had what we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen were well maintained. Pam also explained she'd recently renovated parts of the cottage, and the whole property was in really good condition. This made it a lovely balance between a professionally rented space and a homely one. There were animals around (as The Hagguard is [I think] part of a functioning farm), and we got to pet some sheep/lambs. This was mainly because they were super friendly and came up to the gate (seeing as the animals were separated from the cottage by a fence). All of this made The Hagguard really beautiful, spacious, and refreshing, which in turn made our stay a rejuvenating one. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!
