!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! WE WERE SCAMMED AND TRAPPED!!!

Save yourself and please do not stay here! This place is not what the pictures seem. First off this place is not maintained, as the lock broke off the only exit on our first day and we were not able to get out of the apartment for over 2 hours! We were on our way to a tour booked months in advance that we missed and lost due to being trapped in the hot and humid apartment. We called all the numbers we had with no answer as well as VRBO with no success of getting emergency help from anyone. Just as I was getting ready to call emergency services,my husband finally got the door open and got us out. Making it worse is the place is full of mosquitoes and bugs, my kids were bit all over body and face. Nightly we would check the apartment and kill as many as we could yet they were still getting in or hiding in apartment. We could not open windows because of the mosquitoes so not only were we hot but we had to put up with the moldy mildew smell of entire apartment. I bought scents but nothing worked. Walls were covered with dead bugs and mosquitoes everywhere, it was disgusting. The host was zero help and did not care that we were trapped in his apartment because of the terrible maintenance and upkeep. Save your money and don’t let this place ruin your vacation. Missing out on tours booked months in advance and leaving with itchy bug bites was not what we expected would happen. Do not stay here.

Great Location, Average Apartmen

You can not beat the location of this apartment!! Right down the street from the Duomo and around the corner from Accademia Gallery of Florence where the statue of David is displayed. The communication with realtor was great and they were very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected. When you enter the building there is a musty smell that is a bit overwhelming at first. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of six. Plenty of room, two bathrooms, and large family room/dining area. Unfortunately, there was no binder/instructions telling us how appliances worked or local suggestions. The white couch is very tired and full of stains. There was no extra linens for pull out couch, but honestly the pull out bed was horrible. The apartment was very cold when we arrived, so much so we needed to contact realtor. We were told to contact for the plumber to deal with it. That was a HARD NO!!! We are not contacting a plumber and waiting around for them to service the heat on our vacation! Thank goodness they had mini-splits which worked well. Would recommend for location and space, but consider other factors mentioned.

Great Location - a few tweaks and it’s a 5 Star

Great location near (5 min) the Duomo, restaurants, and cafes. Walking distance to the train station (15-20 depending on if you have luggage). 3 BR, but the small 3rd BR is down a narrow set of stairs and it’s significantly colder there than in the other parts of the apartment. We were only 4, so we didn’t use that room. Floor plan is exactly as pictured. Easy check-in, but it would have been nice if the heat was already turned on as we were contacted about the time of our arrival, so it would have been nice to have the heat already on. Our visit was in January and it was pretty cold. Once the heat got started, it was nice and cozy. It was nice to have the washer/dryer combo, but we ran out of detergent. We only ran 3 loads. It is very small, not like what we are used to in the US. Overall, it’s a great apartment in a great location. We would definitely stay again.

Such an amazing place to stay while in Florence. Close to everything and plenty of space inside the unit. Our kids enjoyes their separate hidden room. Was missing few essentials from Kitchen but nothing we couldn't buy ourselves quickly.

Beautiful Florence!

This property was the perfect location and very nice. The apartment was warm and comfortable—especially during the rainy cold days of November. Everything is in walking distance including the duomo, academia, uffuzi, and so much more. We would highly recommend Luxury Blue Duomo.

A few days in Florence

We spent a few days in Florence and this apartment was as perfect. The location is great if you want to venture around the city. Everything was walkable and we found the best restaurants and gelato place just a few blocks away. Our group was four adults and two young adults. We had everything we needed onsite even took advantage of doing some laundry while there.

Great Location

This apartment has the best location. Steps away from the Duomo. It’s spacious and well kept. The only negative is there was a severe mosquito problem when we arrived. And also since it is located in the center of town it can be quite noisy during the night and early morning. As you can expect in that location. Besides this negatives. It was a good option.

Luxury unit missing basic items

Unit was clean, communication was good. There is a lack of dishware or oven safe cooking items. Nothing to clean up kitchrn with, no dish towels or sponge. Hot water was not working our 1st night, 2nd day. There were extra pillows but no linnens for them, nd we were told $10 per pillow case@

Family vacation

We just returned from a 2 week stay in Italy and our first stop was 2 days in Florence. This apartment is true to the pictures and was more than enough space for 3 adults. it was within walking distance of many sites and restaurants so was perfect for our short stay.

Wonderful experience

This property was perfect for what we were looking for. It was close to the tours and activities we had planned. Communication with the property manager/owner was easy and helpful. I would highly recommend this location to everyone I know.

Great Location

Everything was wonderful. We were only disappointed when we were told there was no dryer and the washer looked difficult to figure out. Other than that, it was clean, the rooms were cool, and the owners were helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed in this Florence apartment with 4 adults and 2 kids, and we had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. The location is fantastic—close to everything you want to see and do in the city. The sitting/living room area was nice, offering a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen, though small, had all the amenities we needed to prepare meals. Just a heads-up: there’s no elevator, which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some. Also, the couch could have been cleaner, but it didn’t detract from our overall experience. The host was wonderful, meeting us at the apartment and giving us a thorough tour. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to others.

Don’t believe the photos….

1 Pro and Several Cons Pro: Decent location 7 Cons: #1 Dirty. The pictures are deceiving. The couch is very dirty and stained. #2 Poor bed linens - no mattress cover or padding on any of the mattresses. No fitted sheets. Only a top thin sheet was provided. When I asked for blankets (that are pictured) we were directed to dirty duvets without the proper covers - also stained and dirty. I asked for clean and new blankets I was told that is all that is available. #3 Mosquitos and other bugs - wow! Everyday we all got bit up like we were camping. Insane!! #4 SO loud - EVERY morning the garbage trucks pick up in front of the apartment and it is basically a wake up call from 6:00AM - 6:15AM and it is LOUD!!!! #5 - Washer Dryer - useless - when asked the property manager for help, they only provided me with a 20+ page instruction manual that didn’t explain how to use it #6 - No dishwasher detergent, no dish soap, no garbage bags and 1 roll of toliet paper provided for our 2 week stay #7 - over 25 stairs to get into your place To Ownership - spend some money to update you place and make sure the property managers treat your renters better and you won’t get bad reviews. We paid over $6,000 and to not provide us with basic necessities it not cool….

Great location, a bit noisy every morning, carpets and couch not very clean.

The location was amazing however the noise outside the master bathroom and guest bedroom over shadowed everything. Hard to sleep with all the noise. Carpets and couch haven’t been cleaned in a long time and show lots wear and tear. Checking in was super easy and the staff were very kind. We loved having lots of space traveling with our two kids everyone had their own room. I have back issues and the beds were very firm and hard to sleep on.
