About this property
A self-contained holiday let set on a working farm with complete privacy
Set in an attractive courtyard adjacent to a working farm on the North Herefordshire and South Shropshire border, The Hayloft has been tastefully converted, creating a unique, large studio, holiday let. The property is comfortable, cosy, completely self-contained and is separate from the main house so you will have complete privacy. The owners have beautifully renovated the property by carefully maintaining the exposed beams and brickwork, while creating a perfectly modern and stylish studio. You have your own access up external stairs to the first floor and there is plenty of parking space.
The Hayloft features a small, private terraced garden, perfect for outdoor dining. The owners' farmland offers some lovely walks, fishing is available on the River Arrow at an additional charge and there is also a tennis court available by arrangement via the owner.
Located in deep countryside which is ideal for avid walkers and cyclists, there is an array of country pubs and restaurants close by as well as numerous apple and cider distilleries. Within 2 miles there are also several supermarkets and local amenities. You can enjoy a short walk into the village where there is a working dairy producing and selling local, artisan cheeses. They also run a Tea room where you can get an excellent coffee, proper leafed tea, homemade cakes and light lunches. There is also a pub in the village serving lunch and evening meals over the weekends. The property is conveniently situated close to the Welsh border which offers some fantastic scenery especially Hay-on-Wye, the Brecon Beacons and the Shropshire Hills are all within easy reach by car.
Also available to book at this location is The Hop Kiln (sleeping four guests).
Outside:
Small terraced garden with outdoor bistro style table chairs, parasol and outdoor lighting.
There is off-street parking at the base of the stone steps or in the courtyard.
There is also a tennis court, use to be arranged via the owner.
