A lovely 2 bedroomed chalet which has been refurbished in 2020 to a very high standard. The village of Galmpton is located in between Brixham and Paignton 10 mins by car each way The Chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and a twin room.It has a large bathroom for a property of this size this consists of a shower toilet and wash basin.The living space is spacious with a large living area and open plan kitchen. A car is not essential but would be recommended as the nearest shop is a 10 minute walk and the nearest bus stop is a 20 minute walk.

Good place to stay had sun on the deck for late breakfast and evening ( Sept )
Very clean on arrival good pub in village which is walkable if fit.
Second bedroom a bit small but ok for one child two would be possible but only one would be alive in the morning if they were my grandchildren. Made a good place for storing our bags and use as a dressing room .
Worked well for us as a couple if there was a downside it was the need for a good frying pan (burnt the bacon !!!) and the bathroom fan did not work.
Brixham Kingswear Dartmouth etc easy drive from the property.
We did have good weather and it was late in the season
excellent value for us as a booking within 24 hours.
A nice bungalow in a quiet site just outside the village. Easy walk to pub and bus service 20 mins walk from site to Brixham and Torquay good regular service. Well equipped bungalow.

Cooking equipment well used and not clean. Extractor in bathroom doesnt work. Dog blankets smelly

The property was beautifully clean, well equiped and spacious for the 2 of us on a well maintained site.
Ideal location for the places we wanted to visit.
Hélas nous n'avons pas pu effectuer ce séjour,faute à une hospitalisation en urgence d'un des participants.Le propriétaire ayant refusé un report sur des dates disponibles nous avons donc annulé ce voyage.
Le propriétaire n'ayant eu aucune compréhension pour cette situation exceptionnelle.

bathroom floor could have done with a small bath matt, as can be slippery.

Very comfortable. Nicely decorated, bright and airy. Seating area outside with lovely views. Parking behind the bungalow, but with steep slope. Beds were comfortable and nice size bathroom. Lounge and kitchen open planned with breakfast tables and stools, no dining table etc. We enjoy cooking, dont really want to eat out all time. So the cooking equipment etc wasnt that good. Everything needed a good scub before using, including all the crockery. Not much choice with cooking utensils. Quite disappointing. As dogs are able stay, it would be good to have the patio area fenced for safety. With it having patio doors, it would be ideal. Not overly impressed with cleanliness. We had to wipe all the surfaces, crumbs everywhere. The toilet and basin needed wiping also. Overall it was a pleasant stay, south-facing which was lovely. If the above things could be altered and accommodated with holiday makers needs it would have 5 stars
This is a cosy, modern well equipped chalet, on the outskirts of a very lovely village. Galmpton has a well stocked shop (1/2 mile walk) and a popular pub with very good food (on route to shop) Excellent base for exploring, beaches, river, walking, and steam trains. We did a moderate walk to Greenway (NT property) a very enjoyable day out. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you
First time I have been to this part of Devon and booked last minute easily. Needed somewhere for our new puppy and was great for that as there was a little spot for the dogs to walk..a little further down through a gate. We spent most of our time by Brixham harbour and had a comfortable clean stay at this place. Beds were comfy and had everything we needed to keep the kids clean and fed. Loved the kitchen.I diddnt see any playgrounds nearby which would have been handy and deffiently need to drive. Check in was contact free. Would love to stay again.

Property was ok but the bedding had a stain on it and the blankets in the living room smelt of dogs. There was no internet despite checking with the property owner who indicated it could be bought from the site. Reception on site said they no longer supplied access and hadnt for sons time.
