If you’re looking for a special, well equipped holiday house in North Wales, as close to the Seafront as you can get, then this has to be it!

Borth-Y-Gest Village is a hidden gem in North Wales, providing a quiet place from which to explore the many attractions of the North Wales coast and inland areas.

In an elevated position overlooking the harbour No.5 is a fully refurbished Victorian holiday cottage on the harbour front with great views of Borth Y Gest Harbour and mountains beyond.

One of the best locations in Borth –y–Gest on the harbour front, on the sweeping coastline of The Lleyn Peninsula and set against the backdrop of Snowdonia. Turn right out of the front door and you are literally on the coastal path!

Built in the late 1800s, No. 5 was previously one of the old pilot houses on Amanda Terrace named after a small ship built in the harbour (The Amanda).. It is now a holiday home arranged on 3 floors and retaining much of its original character.

This spacious yet cosy property, which has undergone extensive refurbishment and redecoration, is equipped to the highest standard and is designed to be beautiful, comfortable, practical and relaxing.

No.5 has been sympathetically restored and is well proportioned with great views, of the harbour, No. 5 Harbourside House is ideally suited for quiet breaks and hectic family holidays alike.

With 3 bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms, a large, open plan dining kitchen, and a lovely sitting room with wood burning stove and with views of the harbour and a further cosy snug / attic room. No.5 Harbourside House will happily accommodate gatherings of up to 5 people yet is equally suited to a quiet weekend away for two.

Whether you’re after a cosy evening in for two, relaxing in the downstairs sitting room next to the wood burner, or a laid back night chatting with friends over a Gin and Tonic on the front terrace overlooking the harbour No. 5 , is perfectly suited to both summer or winter breaks. With the coastal path right on your doorstep, and Porthmadog harbour and town fifteen minutes’ walk away No. 5 Harbourside House is ideally placed.

For a self-catering holiday cottage by the sea, you can’t get any closer!

Views across the bay

House completely renovated to a high standard. Beach just across the road. Parking on the road or nearby car park. House had every facility we needed. Close to Porthmadog and within easy reach of many North Wales attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again.

A delightful stay in a first class holiday home

We had a super Easter stay in this gorgeous cottage - the location was great with lovely coastal walks on the doorstep and lots to do in the local area. The cottage is decorated beautifully, with lots of attention to detail. It is very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for a family or friends holiday - including a laundry area to wash and dry clothes. We'd love to return there - it's one of the loveliest and cleanest holiday homes we've stayed in!
