Alghero: Alghero is on the north-west coast of Sardinia and is called the Coral Riviera. It has beautiful beaches and a rugged coast and is 10 mins from Alghero airport. Alghero is a superb holiday centre with good sandy beaches on either side of the town. To the north-west is Alghero bay, with past it the glorious Porto Conte bay. The picturesque old town of Alghero has an abundant choice of restaurants and good shopping too. The most elegant old streets surround the cathedral, at the centre of the town. There is a boat trip to the enchanting caves of Nettuno near Capo Caccia. To the North-West of Alghero, towards Capo Caccia, there is plenty of opportunity for walking and mountain-biking. There is a nature reserve at Capo Caccia where you can wander and see wildlife, animals and birds, and cross to the other side of the coast and see the rugged cliffs and beautiful blue sea. Walking tours and mountain-biking tours can be arranged, as well as scuba diving and snorkelling.

Huis heeft dringend onderhoud nodig. Bed zakte door, douchedeur klemde doordat hout gezwollen was, later werd verteld dat een nieuwe al besteld was. Bijna geen faciliteiten aanwezig, zoals theedoeken, schoonmaakdoekjes of reinigingsmiddelen. 1 rol wc papier. Woonkamer klein en donker en er hing een muffe lucht van rottend hout. We zijn eerder weg gegaan. De host gaf aan dat we bij onvolkomenheden hadden kunnen bellen, maar dit is niet 1,2,3 te verhelpen. Er is groot onderhoud nodig.

Aufenthalt hat die Erwartungen nur teilweise erfüllt

Aus der Beschreibung im Internet geht nicht hervor, dass es sich um mehrere Häuser mit geringem Abstand voneinander auf einem durch elektrische Tore gesichertes Grundstück handelt. Die Häuser gehören verschiedenen Eigentümern. Das von mir bewohnte hatte eine unsachgemäße Küchenausrüstung: z.B. 4 Espressobereiter, je 2 große flache und kleine Teller und ein Stoß tiefer Teller, kein Brotmesser etc. Ein Spülmittel war nicht vorhanden, ebenso nicht die in Ferienhäusern übliche Flasche Trinkwasser. Es gab kein Toilettenpapier, die Adapter für Euronorm-Stecker habe ich am nächsten Morgen zufällig im Bad-Schränkchen gefunden. Um 23h+ sind solche. Entdeckungen sehr unerfreulich. Die Vermieterin sprach kein Wort englisch, hatte aber Ihren halbwüchsigen Sohn zur Abholung dabei, der auch ein gewisses technisches Verständnis hatte. Dass sie mich am Flughafen abholen würde, habe ich erst erfahren, als ich mich dort telefonisch bei ihr gemeldet habe. Ich war vorher wegen der Lage des Hauses mit ihr aber über Whatsapp in Kontakt. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass sie mit der Vermietung an einen nicht italienischen Gast, der am Flughafen einen Wagen mietet und nach 23h ankommt, deutlich überfordert war. Nach meiner Ankunft habe ich sie nicht mehr gesehen, sie hat aber immer jemanden geschickt, wenn es ein Problem gab, z.B. das Tor sich nicht mit der Funksteuerung öffnen ließ. Wohnung und Wäsche waren sehr sauber. Die Strände sind leicht erreichbar, wenn man sie erst einmal gefunden hat. Alghero ist nicht weit weg, aber die an der Anlage entlang laufende Verbindungstraße nach Norden SP42 verursacht einen andauernden Verkehrslärm, auch noch am späteren Abend.

Nice vacation home

Daniela, the host it's a nice person, but the house was a bit cold since we went there in March and there is no central heating (only AC). The Internet didn't work in the house, only on the terrace and we booked especially the house for the Internet option since we needed to work from there. The garden it's great for children to play.

Belle propriété au calme

Nous regrettons que les photos de la villa soient un peu trompeuses, car pièces petites et peu lumineuses. La kitchenette est peu équipée, pas de grille-pain, de microondes, de presse-fruits, de théière. Strict minimum en vaisselle pour 4 personnes. Cependant Daniela nous a écoutés, et a fait le nécessaire pour le linge de maison indiqué comme fourni sur le site et qui ne l'était pas. Notre période d'occupation ne nous a pas permis de bien profiter des extérieurs très agréables.

House well located

Very good week at Alghero in Daniela house. The house is correctly sized for 4 people, not more. Perfect location closed from alghero down Town and beach all around. Garden is nice for the children and a private car area available is confortable. Only minor negative point is the sp42 road closed of the location with trafic.

cadre extérieur de la maison agréable

Alghero est une ville très agréable à vivre et ses alentours aussi....Daniela, notre hôtesse est sympathique, l'extérieur de la maison est agréable et sécurisé... la maison elle même manque un peu de luminosité et d'espace dans la cuisine, nous y sommes allés fin octobre et les soirée sont fraiches, on passe donc plus de temps à l'intérieur qu'en été, mais cela reste un pied à terre de vacances. Sinon, la maison n'est pas très loin de la ville, la plage...mais il faut être motorisé.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Ideal zum Entspannen

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen und abgeschiedenen Gegend. Ideal für Familien mit jüngeren Kindern.. Es liegt im Mitten von Gärten. Die Durchfahrt ist gesichert durch ein elektrisches Tor. Das gibt einem ein sicheres Gefühl. Die Hausbesitzerin Daniela ist super nett und immer erreichbar. Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine, W-Lan und Fernseher sind vorhanden. Wir waren insgesamt 6 mal in diesen Ferienhäusern. Uns hat es immer sehr gut gefallen. Die wunderschöne Stadt Alghero und die schönen Strände sind in ca.10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Für Kinder im Teenager Alter könnte es allerdings zu abgelegen sein.

Fantastica proprietà

La casa è immersa nel verde a pochi km da Alghero e dalle spiagge. Ottima posizione con un bel giardino, barbecue e posto auto. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. E' stata una fantastica vacanza, speriamo di tornare a trovarvi

Maison fonctionnelle et agréable

Ravis de notre séjour dans la maison Corail, bien pour 4 personnes pas plus, bien équipée et très calme. La situation est idéale près d'une grande route sans en avoir les inconvénients. La terrasse couverte ne voit le soleil que le matin tôt, ce qui permet d'avoir de l'ombre toute la journée. La climatisation est appréciable surtout pour dormir la nuit, il fait chaud en Sardaigne ! Daniela est très sympathique et à l'écoute si nous avons besoin de renseignements. Merci à son papa qui habite à côté pour les renseignements sur l'île d'Asinara et aussi pour les figues ! J'espère que la chatte avec ses petits que nous avons nourri va bien, bref un havre de paix tout près d'Alghero et de l'aéroport. P. S : ne pas mettre Strada provinciale sur son GPS, il nous envoie sur la route de Bosa, suivre les indications de Daniela, c'est tout simple !

Vacances idéales

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans cette maison. Nous avons été ravis de la propreté du lieu, de l'aménagement (barbecue, frigo, wifi, etc), de la terrasse et du jardin. La maison n'est accessible que par un portail électrique, ce qui assez rassurant. De plus, elle est extrêmement bien située, à 5 min de l'aéroport, d'alghero, de la plage, ou même d'un centre commercial ou d'une station essence. Bref, nous avons passé 5 merveilleuses journées dans ce coin très tranquille. L'accueil de la propriétaire a été excellent, nous en garderons un très bon souvenir, et nous faisons en sorte de divulguer cette adresse à nos connaissances !

Relaxing holiday

Quiet, Relaxing, Fantastic

Our first visit to Sardinia was absolutely wonderful, and it all started with Daniela. I highly recommend Casa Sole, the house was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen, very secure parking, the ideal base for our daily exploring trips. We LOVED it and will return here.

Petite maison très agréable

Maison très agréable, au calme, propre et avec un joli jardin. Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette maison avec nos 2 enfants , nous avons apprécié la tranquilité du lieu . L'accès est très facile à quelques km d'Alghero et des plages des alentours. Daniela (qui parle français) est très sympathique. Nous recommandons cette location pour des vacances en famille.

House Coral near Alghero, Sardinia

Spent 4 weeks here from the end of February to the middle of March 2010 with our 2 year old granddaughter for health reasons. The weather was much milder than in Germany at this time of the year so the climate was beneficial to all of us. House was clean and well maintained and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. However without a car it would have been most difficult with regards to shopping, sight-seeing in Alghero etc. Washing machine was availabe but very hard to get things dry especially the bed linen at this time of the year. The owners were always ready to solve any problems that arose so we had no difficulties there. Would recommend this for families with small children and elderly people who can drive around.

anmeldelsen af huset er perfekt.

Vi var meget tilfredse med vores ophold i HOUSE SUN. Huset er udstyret med, hvad man kan forvente,og badeværelset er bare i orden. Husk,at tage et par karklude,opvaskemidel og viskestykker med ,men det var også det eneste vi syntes der manglede . Men nu ved vi det, og tager det bare med hjemmefra. Værtsparret er meget søde og opmærksomme på,at vi finder os godt tilrette, man kan bare ringe ,hvis det opstår problemer,,,men det gjorde der ikke. Vi havde set i en anden anmeldelse,at der var en god restaurant lige i nærheden. Men den er mere end bare god.! Så flotte omgivelser, sød tjener og det mest lækre mad, til så lave priser,. Husk ,at spise der. Stedet hedder : Villa Loreto. På højre side -mod lufthavnen. - Tag også en biltur til Bosa. Og hold øje med restauranter på vejen. Sikke udsigter... En ting er sikkert,: vi tager til Sardinien igen, og vil bo i HOUSE SUN igen

VACANZE AD ALGHERO -CASA SOLE

Posizione fantastica a pochi chilometri da Alghero ma lontano dal caos della città in Agosto. I proprietari Giorgio e Daniela sono estremamente cortesi e disponibili a venire incontro ad ogni esigenza. La "casa sole" (House Sun), dotata di bella veranda, è confortevole ed ideale per le vacanze al mare di una famiglia con due bambini. C'è la lavatrice nel bagno che permette di viaggiare con il vestiario minimo indispensabile. Aria condizionata! Abbiamo apprezzato il giardino e la possibilità di fare barbecues! Toll!

Giorgio und Daniela sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben öfters gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob etwas fehlt. Sogar bei der Reifenpanne haben sie unmögliches möglich gemacht. Wir waren zu 5 für 12 Tage dort und haben dort schöne Ferien verbracht. Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit schönem Garten. Wir können dieses Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Familienurlaub bei Freunden

Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen, zweiwöchigen Familienurlaub mit 3 Generationen in einem der Häuser der Familie. Die gesamte Anlage um das Haus herum war liebevoll gepflegt. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit erreichbar und stets super freundlich. Wir haben uns als willkommene Gäste und sehr umsorgt gefühlt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Maison très agréable à Alghero, Sardaigne

Nous venons de passer un séjour très agréable dans cette location. Cette maison est située à 2 km des plages de Alghero et de son centre ville, dans un quartier très calme. Il y a un jardin autour, très bien entretenu, une douche extérieure géniale pour se rafraichir quand il fait 35°C la journée, une grande terrasse ombragé pour vivre à l'extérieur. Quand à l'intérieur, tout est là pour réussir un bon séjour...notamment la climatisation qui aide à bien s'endormir. Les propriétaires sont charmants, et disponibles pour nous aider à profiter des charmes de cette région superbe. L'endroit est parfait pour une famille qui souhaite se laisser vivre...Nous espèrons vite y retourner.

Nice house in rural area

My wife, son (15), and me stayed here for two weeks. The website gives an accurate description, but not clearly pointing out that Sun and Coral are two separate houses close to each other, also with separate gardens. Everything was clean and well-maintained, the owners being friendly and helpful with support and both practical and touristic information. The kitchen has everything one needs for basic cooking, but not more. Also the general equipment of the house is simple, but complete and useful. The location is rural but very close (with a car, few km) to the airport, the city of Alghero, and several fantastic beaches of different characters. As we had several days with temperatures well over 40 degrees, we were happy about the air conditioning. During the nights it is not really quiet because of some barking dogs and the automatic watering of the gardens. We would recommend this place to anyone who likes a calm and nice place.
