Great stay for a large group

Our group of 19 had a wonderful weekend stay. The communication from the hosts was excellent. The setting and facilities were perfect- plenty of space for communal games both indoors and outdoors, working and extensive kitchen areas, and good bathroom provision. We particularly loved the outdoor areas, and spending time together in the kitchen of the largest house. We're hoping to return very soon!

Family gathering at Ryton Grange

We have just enjoyed our Family Gathering at Ryton Grange - five generations coming from all areas of England. It proved to be a memorable weekend and we occupied the House and the two Barns. We particularly loved our mealtimes in the large kitchen and 21 of us sat down to enjoy our relaxed meals together. It was great. We can fully recommend staying at Ryton Grange. There is plenty to do in the area and the owners, Richard and Emma could not have been more helpful and informative. Yes! We would certainly return.

richard was born and raised in this farmhouse, with his 3 siblings, when it was an active dairy farm. They used to milk the cows and grow crops to feed the animals in the surrounding fields

Why they chose this property

this was inherited as it has been in the family for many years

What makes this property unique

it is traditional and we have made a point of making the rooms up to give a feel of time gone by, but with the added luxury of comfort and modern essentials
