Double room stylishly furnished with a king size comfy bed, ensuite bathroom with bath/shower combination and tea and coffee making facilities. Pet friendly (small additional charge).
Situated on the outskirts of Chedington village, our charming country pub is situated high in the chalk fields of West Dorset, and commands one of the finest views in the West Country. Surrounded by National Trust Land, the area is an unspoilt rural delight.

It’s the perfect place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with 6 modern and comfortable ensuite bedrooms which are set
back from the main pub building.

Conveniently located just off a main the road that links Crewkerne and Dorchester, the Inn is the ideal location for exploring the whole of the West Dorset area, from the picturesque coastal town of Lyme Regis to the famous Jurassic Coast line to Weymouth.

Fab staff, lovely rooms and comfy beds - we'll be back!

Bron and her team at the WG are charming and helpful. The food is yummy - homely but with the right amount of restaurant flair - and the rooms are spacious and kitted out with excellent mattresses and lovely linens, ensuring a genuinely good sleep (which is not always a given when away from home!) We felt very well taken care of and will definitely be back.

A beautiful night stay in the country side

Stopped in on the way back to Devon from Bournemouth with my girlfriend. Was an absolutely beautiful room and en-suite. Very spacious which looked great. We popped into the pub for food and received nothing but politeness from all of the staff. Great place!!

Second stay at Winyards gap - excellent all round. Friendly host, lovely comfortable quality accommodation. Quiet and peaceful 3 miles from family. Comfortable, modern room in great location

Stayed for 1 night while visiting family who live in the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Rooms are separate from the pub and set away from the car park so there is no disturbance from customers coming and going. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The view from the pub garden is beautiful and there is a lovely short walk on the hill behind the pub. We will definitelystay here again.

Another Perfect Stay

This was a short break with my husband and my elderly parents and dog. It is the third time we have stayed at Winyards Gap and have enjoyed every visit so much. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic atmosphere in bar and accommodation superb. The menu is always interesting and the food beautifully prepared.
