Lovely cottage , welcoming hosts , beautiful setting

Cosy little cottage with all you need for a stay in the North York Moors and Coast . Rachel was lovely and had good local information. Beautiful location- just a shame that the cottage is laid out to see the courtyard rather than the lovely countryside when you are sitting on the sofa .

A wonderful few days in a beautiful area.

Accommodation of high quality, wonderful hosts and a peaceful location ideal for exploring the North Yorkshire National Park. There is so much to see, visit and do that we will be back for a longer stay very soon, as had no where near enough time on this trip.

Fantastic stay, great location in accommodation where the hosts have covered all bases

The location is an ideal base, with lots of the North York Moors attractions within easy driving distance. Plenty of traditional pubs that offer food are nearby too. 'Snowdrop' cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy & very comfortable. It was well equipped and has great views across the moors. The welcome pack was a nice touch and was very much appreciated. This was our second stay and the hosts, Rachel & Rory, have always been friendly, very helpful, informative and on-hand (if needed).

Absolutely fabulous stay at Daisy and Snowdrop Cottages🥰

The cottages were spotless, the beds were really comfy as were the couches! The views were tremendous and the quiet was so relaxing! We loved eating brack and drinking tea in the beautiful garden while watching the birdlife against a backdrop of the moors! Just perfect! Added to which Rachel and Rory were perfect hosts. Can’t wait for our return trip ❤️

Really lovely, comfortable, in a beautiful part of the Moors and thoroughly enjoyable.

Lovely walks right from the door. Huge, comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Healthy half hour walk across the fields to a delightful country pub with good food. Lots of wildlife and birdsong. Lovely garden with great views. Convenient to towns and villages of Cleveland and the North Yorkshire coast. Owners Rachel and Rory very helpful, friendly and discreet. The beauty and tranquillity in the heart of the North York Moors. Thanks and hope to be back, Malc and Wendela

A relaxing week in a super cottage with friendly hosts set in beautiful countryside.

Gorgeous clean cottage with all amenities. Plus the bonus of a wood burner with plenty of wood left by Rachel and Rory the hosts. Enjoyable walks on the doorstep and ease of driving to Whitby and other seaside locations. Plus a train service from Danby to Whitby. We enjoy our nightly walk to St Hilda’s church opposite and a sit in the serenity of the graveyard. North Yorkshire must be one of the most beautiful places to be in England.

A lovely cosy cottage with fabulous views.

The cottage was warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and provided a lovely selection of treats on arrival. The views from the cottage are beautiful, and there are several nice walks from the door. A great central location for exploring the moors and coast, with shop, pubs and bakery/tearoom all only a couple of miles away.

A wonderful place to stay!

I stayed for four nights in one of the cottages. It was perfect. Immaculately clean, lovely bedding and towels and had everything I could possibly need. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The cake that the owner provided me with was the best I have ever tasted!

Outstanding accommodation

Our second visit this year to Snowdrop Cottage at Church House Farm, and our first since Rachel and Rory took over. We are already trying to organise a further visit this Autumn - what more can I say?

Like coming home

This is our most recent of several cottage stays at Church House Farm. We love to visit, and can always discover something new to do in the area, as well as revisiting old favourites. This time our intention was mainly to just unwind. There is nowhere better to do this, and we had a great time and came home revitalised. Rory and Rachel ensure the cottage is in tip top condition and are excellent but unobtrusive hosts. We are now planning for our next visit!!!

Excellent - as always

We stayed for the first time this year, due to the various virus challenges. Normally we would also have stayed earlier in the year as well. We arrived - we relaxed - we enjoyed our time. what more can be said? A lovely cottage. Lovely scenery and lovely area.
