Welcome! Have a seat on my outdoor lanai, perched on the 10th floor of the Whaler Condominiums on Maui’s Ka'anapali Beach. This spot brings you a panoramic vantage point for the sparkling sea and beckoning beach in front of you, the lush green mountain range and golf course to your left, and the island of Lanai. This Ka'anapali Beach Vacation Rental opens views rarely seen elsewhere!

These views are the reason I bought this place over 20 years ago and never looked back. Guests love it, too, and tell me they spend hours on the lanai, relaxing in our chairs and watching the changing light, from sunrise to sunset.

At the outdoor dining table on the lanai, sample a Hawaiian pupu (an appetizer plate of local goodies like tempura vegetables and skewers of chicken and fish), and watch the sun sink over the distant Island of Lanai and the Pacific Ocean.

This is paradise--and one example of what awaits you at Whaler 1063.

Our studio condo with king-sized bed is intimate, comfortable, and keeps everything you need close at hand, including kitchen supplies and a collection of beach goodies like lounge chairs, beach umbrellas, and picnic coolers.

We also provide a cable linked television with DVR, fast wireless Internet, an étagère with Hawaiian artifacts and a small library of books. The kitchen and bathroom are newly remodeled.

The Whaler, where the unit is housed, provides many resort-style amenities for an active couple, including direct access to the beach, a heated pool and Jacuzzi, tennis courts, an exercise facility, a concierge, and ocean-side barbeques for beachfront dining.

And, for adventurers ready to explore, there are dozens of options nearby, including some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving on Maui, helicopter tours, golf courses, ferry, bicycle trips down Haleakala, horseback riding in the upcountry, wineries, luaus, and moonlight dinner cruises leaving from Ka'anapali Beach. You won’t want to leave.

The sunset from the lanai is amazing! The room was very clean and has everything you would need. The bed was extremely comfortable and Bill is very tentative with any questions.

Fun in the Sun!

Bill's studio is spacious, clean, well decorated, and has the best balcony views ever with comfy furniture. Easy in-easy out-covered parking-shopping carts for your use, and Bill has all kinds of beach equipment. Spices were available as well as coffee. The Whaler is a top notch property and has a very nice pool and jacuzzi. Free coffee in the am and tea in the afternoon poolside. Walk to The Whaler's Village in 2 minutes. I had a really wonderful stay and I plan to stay again next year.

Nice Room - Conveniently Located

The Whaler is a great property conveniently located on Kaanapali Beach, close to activities, food and shopping. The rental unit is well equipped and has a wonderful view to Lanai. We took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrella to chill on the beach.

Perfect for us

Whaler studio 1063 met our needs very nicely. Great location right on the beach. Short walk to Black Rock for snorkeling. Enough shade at the pool. It was busy, but not overcrowded. The Tennis Court that was available when we wanted to play. The studio is not the most luxurious, but it had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch on the balcony overlooking Kaanapali Beach. We could have used the available grills for dinner, but chose to eat out at nearby restaurants. The owner, Bill did a great job in making our stay a pleasure. Overall, highly recommended!

Beautiful ocean and golf course views looking over Whalers Village. Great location on Kaanapali beach by black rock and right next to shopping and restaurants at Whalers Village. Watch the snorkel cruise boats pull up on shore from the Lanai.

Everything was fine…..only complaint is the noise and smell from Whalers Village air conditioning unit and restaurants. Was a bit annoying sitting on lanai….but it was a beautiful view! Unit is a little outdated…..but that’s a minor complaint. Overall….I recommend!

Maui Paradise

We had a magnificent time staying at Bill's condo for my wife's birthday. The view is incredible, the room is amazing, and the location is unbeatable. It's right on the beach with restaurants and shopping right next door. Bill is easy to get in touch with, helpful, and an excellent host. Absolutely would stay here again!

My husband and I loved this condo! Great location and wonderful views from the lanai! Even saw whales spouting in the distance one evening! Being on the 10th floor made for great views both directions! The Bose radio was wonderful to have to listen to music while we prepared food and ate meals. Great added touch! The condo was very clean and equipped well! Loved having the beach chairs and ESPECIALLY the beach umbrellas! There was some noise from the businesses below but didn’t bother us to much. The bed was very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for making our first trip to Hawaii comfortable and relaxing!

Honeymoon in Paradise

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Hawaii that covered 3 islands. The stay here was the best VRBO we have stayed at. Nothing negative at all. Such a beautiful condo in a amazing location right on the beach. Never got in the car till it was time to go. Beach all day, shopping and dining right there to walk to. This will be a place we return to many times. Thank you so much for the memories.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bill's property prior to attending a work event at the Westin next door. The location, room, and view were perfect! My favorite part about our stay was hanging out on the balcony (or lanai) watching the boats go by. You can hear the live music from the Hula Grill which made me feel like I was a part of the action. You can also hear the A/C units from the Whalers Village which didn't bother me, but know it would bother some people. The location made it easy to visit the beach, watch the sunsets, and walk to shopping and dining. The staff was very welcoming and the room felt like our home away from home. Although we enjoyed our stay at the Westin, we have already been talking about going back to Bill's property and have recommended it to several family members. Thanks for everything, Bill!

Maui Perfection

My husband and I stayed in 1063 for our 10 year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The condo was clean and inviting with a beautiful lanai where we sipped our coffee in the mornings and watched the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and there was plenty of beach of beach gear (chairs, umbrella and boogie board). The owner was quick to respond if we had any questions and a pleasure to work with. We will be back!

Lovely view of the beach. The condo was clean and stocked with all the cooking and cleaning equipment we needed to prepare our own meals from scratch. The owner, housekeeper, and front desk clerks were friendly and attentive. Boogie boards, umbrellas, and beach chairs came in handy!

Amazing stay in Maui

11 Days in Maui

This place was perfect for us. Had everything we needed, and was located in an ideal spot with access to shopping, restaurants, excursions/activities all without needing to drive. We had a car to check out the rest of the island of course, and parking was a breeze. The facilities overall were excellent, staff all friendly and accomodating. The condo fit the bill (no pun intended) for us. More than enough space, internet was good, bed was amazing, bathroom was great and the lanai became our favourite spot to eat breakfast and take in a view of the early morning activities. When we return, this will be the first place we try to book.

Honeymoon in Maui

My wife grew up in San Diego, so when my parents surprised us with a honeymoon in Maui, my wife was a little concerned. Shoe would say, "I grew up going to the beach." While San Diego is nice, it does not compare with the beauty of Maui. The condo was absolutely perfect. The view on the lanai gave us the option of watching the sunrise over the mountains or watch the sunset over the ocean. The beach was pristine. The Whaler gave us the flexibility to eat some of our meals in the condo which allowed us to splurge on some nicer meals. The boardwalk is a perfect way to spend the day exploring the othe properties. Any of the poolside bars are excellent for a refreshment. Another perk is the easy availability of sailboat cruises that pick you up right in front of the Whaler. We did a sunset cruise and a snorkel cruise. If you are looking at this propoerty, just book it. Don't look any farther. Bill was a great host and the communication from him was 100% perfect.
