Lovely property in a small medieval village. Very comfortable and very helpful host Eric. October is a challenging time as many restaurants and shops are closed for vacation or the season but we had two lovely meals out and good day trips in the area.
This is a delightfully restored old house with lots of character in the stone walls, exposed beams and ancient staircase. The town of Issigeac is an absolute gem especially because most tours do not go here, so you can wander, without hordes of tourists everywhere. The town is full of medieval buidlings and charm, as well as being close to other middle ages villages.
We all loved the house! The location is perfect, easily walkable to shops and restaurants and the big Sunday market! Each bedroom was comfortable with a modern shower and comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is every bit as beautiful as I had expected from the pictures! The hot tub is sparkling clean and since we were on a cycling trip, it was a wonderful welcome at the end of the day. Eric is really a great host, easy to access and really helpful. I can’t wait to go back!
An excellent and beautifully modernised house. Lovely yard/garden and exceptional air conditioning in the heat ! Eric was a super host. Lovely location in lovely village.
Beautifully decorated with all the equipment you could need we very quickly relaxed in this very lovely gite in a very beautiful area. Generous and accommodating hosts who were great to deal with. We had a wonderful holiday here
