Villa Combes, child- and pet friendly villa, heatable pool in Lorgues

Delightful 4 bedroom villa for 8 with private pool, large covered terrace and mostly fenced garden near the village of Lorgues located in Provence.

Paradisiacal.... This luxury villa is located about 2 km from the famous town of Lorgues on an almost fairytale-like property. Lorgues has a beautiful main street where the terraces seem to stretch endlessly. Here the most delicious dishes are served and you can have a delectable cup of coffee in the morning. Small streets wind up and where you can enjoy the ancient buildings interspersed with a fountain here and there. On Tuesdays there is a market where farmers from all over the region offer their fresh produce.

If you want to spend a day at the beach we can heartily recommend Sainte Maxime, 45 km away. This has a cozy center, an attractive port and the most beautiful sandy beaches where you can rent sunbeds.

When you drive up the long driveway you will see this villa at the end. Located on a largely fenced private property of 4,000 m2. There is an abundance of flowers, herbs and beautiful shrubs where especially the immense lavender bushes stand out. Beautiful cypresses, olive trees and plane trees complete the scene. The pool (10 x 5 m) with Roman steps is located so that the sun has access to it throughout the day. The pool is secured with an aquasensor and has a spacious tiled sun terrace with a seating area, sun beds and umbrellas; here you can stay all day! At night, the garden lighting offers a fairy-like appearance.

Another must is the large terrace near the house, which runs both in front and in a corner around the house, much of it covered. That terrace offers protection from the blistering sun; here you can enjoy your meals and the beautiful view in the shade while a breeze provides coolness. The large garden table is also a pleasant reading spot. The view of the valley and the mountains in the distance is magnificent.

Inside it feels pleasantly bright and you can see that the owner has decorated the villa with an eye for detail. Comfort and atmosphere are paramount. The spacious salon has a real "plof sofa" with matching "loveseat" by the fireplace. Two wicker armchairs complete the scene. The television has a satellite dish and you can receive Dutch channels. Continuing towards the kitchen, there is a natural wood dining table by one of the three patio doors to the terrace. The open kitchen is cozy and fully equipped. From the kitchen you step out onto the covered terrace; handy for serving meals 'al fresco'! There is a guest toilet on the first floor.

The bedrooms are upstairs. In the Chambre de Maître there are 2 single beds together. When you open the shutters you will see Provence appear; hills with vineyards and farms. There is an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink and a toilet.
In the second bedroom there are also two single beds together and in the third the beds are each on one side of the bedroom. In the fourth bedroom there is a double bed.

Like the rest of the villa, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and give a feeling of "welcome. The three bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and a sink. There is also a separate toilet upstairs.

We highly recommend this villa; the location, the atmosphere, the decoration: absolutely right!
